I am beginning to think that such inspiration might be among the very few things that Sachin cannot do on a cricket field.

Sachin 200 in ODI
Lara 400 in Test
Lara 501 in First Class.
guess what, the best person in each format holds the record ... I would like to see this stays unbroken forever.

i was remembering some incidents when he was in hundred. he was suffering from tennis elbow injury. nobody wished him to come back. he was used to be callled the-end-ul-car by people. he failed and failed in national league but gradually come back to cricket. without big mouthing unlike other indian cricketers. and he made some points here. he's someone different. most important one- size doesn't matter. lol
congrats.....

Great achievement for Tendulkar, maybe best ODI batsman ever... I'm sorry for Charles Coventry as he's not record holder anymore!

And he can't be my granddad anyway. My granddad, were he alive, would've been more than twice as old as Sachin is atm.

RESPECT from every molecule in me. What is most impressive about his career is that he seems to be getting better with age. Heck he could be in his forties and still be the best batsman in the team.
Tendulkar >> ROW combined. ">>".

The Man, The Legend, The Myth that is Sachin Tendulkar.
Take a bow world.
Take a good long bow.
Priviledged to live in an era where we saw Sachin bat.

Congrats!. I still rate Anwar's 194 higher than this. It was terribly hot and humind in Chennai when Anwar made his record. It was just killing.

200 is such a milestone that its hard to compare! Anwar was a great one day player. But, Sachin doing what he did at this age, against that SA attack, and for that magical 200 number alone, I have to put this ahead of any innings.
My fav ODI innings : 185 IVA Richards in '87 WC. Remember that he didn't open. Also, the PP's, field restrictions were not there.

just for the sake of argument, Anwar took a runner for most part of that innings but for Sachin- he started the innings and finished it without any runner!!

What are you yapping about man. He had a dropped chance. He had a by runner for 75% of his innings. This is a much superior bowling attack.
