India without a doubt...Pak second and SL third..Then closely Australia..England..Wi...BANG..NZ..SA..I think thats the order..BD is still too young to compete with big brothers..Honest opinion.

No, that is not correct. Perhaps, after Dilip Doshi retired, but the earlier Indian spin attack used to be better than Pakistan's.
The spin quartet of Bedi, Prasanna, Chandrasekhar, and Venkatraghavan might never be equaled. PAK was way behind in spin during their time. You also might have heard of Ghulam Ahmed, Vinoo Mankad, Subash Gupte, and the aforementioned Dilip Doshi.

Last 40+ years...it's different... Chandrasekhar, Prasanna, Bedi...we're the last of Indian spin of good quality.... Those were in 70s.... Although They were more effective in Indian pitches....
Even they had doshi or Kumble later... But at the same time Pak had much better quality spinners than them.

Did not vote because the answer would be different if we voted for now vs. before. Since the title says "produces" and not "has produced," I am using present tense. In that case, my ranking will be 1) PAK, 2) IND, 3) BD, 4) SL, ... (I have taken into account Swann in the ENG team.)
If we consider all time, IND will be #1, but AUS will have to be #2. They produced many top spinners even before Warne. Among them are legends like Richie Benaud, Clarrie Grimmett, and off course, Bill O'Reilly (whom Bradman called the best bowler he ever faced).

You said, pick any decade. You could pick any decade until the '80's. India's spin attack was much better than Pakistan's. India was probably better overall even in the 80's. (Doshi was better than any PAK spinner from the '80's.) PAK might be better only the last two decade.

The spin quartet was very successful overseas also. Please check the facts.

All of the countries of sub continent are store of spinners. India taraditionally produces spinners but in quality Pakistan is better and Sri Lanka also produces some quality spinners. Now Bangladesh start supplying spinner. As a new nation in cricket Bangladesh's position is so amasing.
It is cause of our sub contient condition.

14 people chose Bangladesh.
All we produce are SLA's and they are not quality spinners. Warne, Kumble, Murali - they are quality spinners.

Didn't Kumble bowl gentle medium pace?

Stats aren't facts.... Because ind played without even a seamer when that quartet was playing...so if you count the number of wickets they took, that really means nothing... Did they win overseas with those spinners on a regular basis? No... So depends on what facts you are looking for.....
When a team plays with all the spinners, it's no wonder whatever wickets the team gets will be in their bag....they weren't match winners overseas....like the Other spinners like Murali, Warne, Mushtak, Quadir, Ajmal....on basically any surface...

Doshi was a nobody even by Indian standard.. Only good spinner ind had since 80s was Kumble...all others were successful in short stints....including doshi...
