I think papon already mentioned in media that they are not considering riadh as captain for T20. So no more point arguing

So they are considering slogger Shakib Al Hasan? Who has a SR of 110 since 2014 with average of 24? Great news!!! Well done. Or are they considering Tamim Iqbal who has one of the worst records as captain in BPL?

As said before papon not considering riadh as captain and shakib is his preferred choice because of his changed attitude and maturity

Like Ranatunga was the best performer of SL team during 96 WC. Performance is not irrelevant for captaincy, but it's certainly not the key factor.
To me, a captain should possess these skills (in descending order):
1) Leadership
2) Team management/ involvelemt/ motivating skills
3) Strategic skills/ game-planning
4) Rise & shine when needed most
5) Overall performance
However, I don't mind Mullah as a T20 captain provided he can prove No. 1, 2 & 3 in T20i's.

I will commit suicide if Riad becomes captain.
He didn't even attempt to run in the last call of the innings.
He didn't take a single in the penultimate ball of the match against India
He can't score run in important times.
What captain? Make shak or mush the captain

His not a finisher. Did you not watch BPL? He bats at no.4/5. That's his position.

Riyad has been reduced to a mere utility player again, not doing well in that role either. Far from leadership material now.

Today he refused to take a single on the last delivery and wanted to remain not out in order to boost his useless average. I'm Glad that management isn't considering a selfish player like him to be our next captain.

Riyad will get cut. My intuition.
This will be once again the Shakib show, with Fizz and Mizz on the side.

what he did was just absolutely disgusting. It goes to show that we have a toxic culture when it comes to senior players within the team.

I take it all back. I want to change the vote as well.
As I didn't watch the game Live, I've just seen the highlights including the last ball incident. That's disgusting. Saifuddin got so frustrated and then stopped saying anything realizing there is a "senior" player at the other end who didn't even leave the crease to add another run to team's total.

Before I actually wouldn't mind if he is made captain but after the incident of last ball I just don't want him to be in squad. If you guarantee me he will score 100 in next T20 match then even not because by making 100 he will ensure we will lose. Maybe 1 run needed in last over but he will prefer to stay 100*
I feel shame I supported a loser...

Saifuddin hit the ball which went to the bowler and attempted a run and if the bowler had missed the stumps there would have been an easy single.
Now Riad didn't even make any attempt to run to the other end. He felt it wasn't worth sacrificing his wicket for a single
