I think the match threads are better without these fancy animations.

why not do away with match threads altogether then?

Yes we can. According to bdnews24.com, Bangladesh have left out Junaed and Enamul Jr from the playing 12, so therefore Mehrab will be partnering Tamim.

I agree with miraz bh, these fancy animation becoming boring day by day. match jitte parina, sudhu sudhu tiger er pic dekhle e mejaj ta kharaph hoye jacche. Rifat bh er nofrills thread e lucky chilo. as a bd fan (looser) we don't deserve this better looking thread at the moment. Ar kal jodi here jai, tahole 3rd match er jonno kono thread e open korar dorkar nei. emon faltu team er jonno koshto kore thread open kore ki luv?

Bangladesh have made one change in the playing XI. Mehrab Jr. will open with Tamim Iqbal and Zunaid will warm the bench.

Junaid had to sit. I would rather see Imrul but I will take Mehrab for now.

Mehrab's career List A average is 24.76. What is the justification of continue to take him as a burden?

Mehrab, certainly has a big mama within BCB administration. It will be difficult to get rid of him, I can tell you that. He will keep coming back, despite his performance. He was dropped recently and again selected! This time as an opener in ODI!!!
Can anyone please tell me, under what considerations he was selected this time? Was it because Zunaid was not performing? Could that be at all a criteria for selecting a player, who just was dropped very recently for NOT PERFORMING!!!
These selectors need brain surgery!
Does anyone know who the Mama is?

i dont want mehrab in the ODI team, he will be another crap. why dont we take home series advantages and bring someone from domestic league. my preferences are as a opener and tamim's opening partner
1. nafees iqbal
2. nayeem islam---already in the team
3. imrul kayes

I'm still not sure why Kayes was dropped from the squad for the ODI's. His presence would definitely have helped. Mehrab is a dead end...

Ashraful may not win the toss today; In that case our batsmen have to face the same swinging condition in the morning. We need to make sure they dont succumb to that condition yet another time. Openers need to occupy the crease for at least 10/15 overs, we need responsibility from number 3, 4 and 5 to set up an innings. Our top order is too precarious to rely on. I am hopeful that they would be able to turn the things around and save our face in front of cricketing world.

I want them to bat first today and prove that they can bat in such situation atleast against Zimbabwe. Everyone is so pissed at Ash for winning the toss and chosing to bat first. What would all of you say if we had lost the toss and bat first that day? Would that loss be justfied? No it wouldn't. So batting first or last regardless, batsmen need to prove themselves today. It's now or never.
