We need to play against Zimbabwe in the "extra series" and win it and increase our ranking.

Reason: vulgar language
definitely, esp after they got thrashed 5-0 by SA and 3-0 by pakistan.

bd could beat india as well, esp with the current form of indian players.

Kenya is demoted to recently created second tier of oneday cricket.

A new era for the second tier

Does not it mean ICC is going to put Kenya on a separate ranking? If so, congrats to ICC for finally able to recognize Bangladesh as the tenth best ODI side.

One more thing, Bangladesh is not going to play the next champions trophy by default, because only eight countries will be playing the tourny in India next year. Top six rank holders will be given automatic inclusion. 7-10 ranking countries have to go through qualifying rounds to make up two more spots in the tournament.

New format for ICC Champions Trophy 2006 in India
