1. Dont use bad language....else dont come to such public forums
2. Ashraful scoring a century is not a "miracle". Its a great performance anyways.

Well done Ash you've done yourself proud, if only whole of the top order were as good as you . What happened to Mashrafee, Rafique, Rajib and Sharifs batting today? As i have said over and over again if one player goes the rest follows. Anyways good day from my point of view mainly because I wanted Ash to get a century and he did, secondly highest bangladesh partnership (191 runs) and finally Mushfique proved me right as i have had faith with him since people wanted Pilot.

Default mature innings

Probably , this was Ash's most mature century . I saw some determination and respnsibility-taking mentality in his body language today . Probably the presence of cool , calm musfiq at the other end helped him . And I also think , the charge of captaincy is also bringing up the respensibility in him .

Only other innings that was close to this in terms of maturity was that against aussie at cardiff . but , today if mushfiq was not out , I think , ash was targeting a double ton . good one .

The team should also mature to play good or at least ordinary test cricket . they are playing hopeless !!!!

Ya Ash was really mature today and also I am really impressed with his determination and responsibility today!! He really played a captains knock today and I hope this is not the only time he plays that and I also hope the next time
he plays like this is not far away from now!!

I would say, I was lucky enough to miss the final day, because some surprises were awaiting me in the morning. I loved the surprise...my eyes jumped on my forehead when i saw the total of 299, and jumped to my head when i saw Ash's maiden ton, and then my eyes popped out to see the partnership b/w Ash and Mushy.

Both these guys played a matured, determined, and well balanced innings. These are hard to come by for our team...so enjoy the moment while you're at it...

I do hope that this type of determination and responsibility is a regular feature in Ash from now on...and I see that change coming in him. He played the captan's knock...in the most determined manner, and in the very beginning of his assignment...I wish Bashar showed this much determination.

Quoting myself from another thread.

Big innings are coming more and more frequently from his bat these days. First one was in 2001 and he had to wait three years till 2004 for the second one. With two years gap he got another one in 2006. And finally this one came just with one year interval.

I see there is a pattern. 3,2 and 1 years gaps.

I just hope it doesn't go in a cycle of 3,2, and 1 years pattern.
