Tamim, Nazim, Mushfiq, etc have not joined the team yet on contrary to what cricinfo suggests. They will be in the team from next match. We are still playing with the same A-team that played against Ireland.

breaking news
Breaking news!Bangladesh A has scored 365 against england under 19. Our openers have scored 265 between them. English captain took 5 wicket stowards the end. According to latest reports, england are 223/5.
The players said they love the media room near the ground...The tea is reportedly excellent, so is the internet speed.

This is one of the ways our current Test players can become more competitive when playing Test matches.
We have not reached that level as yet when we can afford to send a genuine A team on tour playing the A team of other Test playing sides. Our National team IS our A side- if you follow my drift.
|
Not right at all. There is a big gap between the A teams and the main team of the test playing sides. It's not exactly one small step down. Our national team falls short of their main teams but ahead of the A teams. Our National teams playing A teams makes no sense. That's too simplistic thinking.
Our team doesn't benefit at all by playing them. Rathar a genuine A team can gain experience by playing. The proble of our national team is that, they are yet not capable of handling the 2/3 star players of the main teams.
National team has to play Murali to know how to tackle him, playing 100 years with Sri A team, they can't learn it. Similarly they will learn to ball against tendulker/Shehwag by playing against them, another 100 years of bowling against indian A team will not give that experience. Similar is the case for Eng/Aus/SA name whatever team.
What do you mean, we havn't reached that level? We are officially in that level and we need to play at that level. may be we aren't yet equal to them. We have beaten most of them and a little bit improvement will make that more consistent to be competitive everytime. The difference is not as big as JS projects it to be.
That's the reason why the genuine A team should be playing so that we can see them and if we can pick 1/2 genuine performers in the future years from amongst them, we can be much more competitive. Meanwhile the national team is playing a lots of matches with the main teams, they also have the chance to improve. So lets not go back gear by playing the national team against A teams, which gives them nothing new and we block our future by not allowing the genuine A team players to have the scope of improvement.

It's 65/1 now with Rajin on 13....
The online scorrer seems to be watching something else (most likely adult site on the internet??) other than the BD-A-U19 cricket match. Not only he is ignorant of BD players, he doesn't seem to have any knowledge of England u19 players either....

wouldn't surprise me if he was just left out, but didn't he have a cold earlier in the tour? maybe he's not recovered yet.
