Agree. Most likely between Srilanka and India in my opinion. But I want Bangladesh to at least reach the semis.

For those too young to know, everybody was sure it would be a ind - pak final in 1987. Surprisingly it was border's aus that beat gatting's eng for the trophy.

I like the theory and dare I say it, it is not very far-fetched. The conditions are right for BD to excel. But, our batting will need to click.
We cannot be dependent totally on TI and SAH on batting. We'll need to get 250+ even in an inning when both fail. We'll need to get 275+ in most matches and a few 300+.
It will be critical to keep 6-7 wickets until the 35th over, while scoring 175+, mostly with 1's and 2's. Then score 125+ in the final 15. Clearly, using the batting PP well will be a key.
Good fielding will be key. We'll have to take catches and stop boundaries.
Bowling will need to continue its dominant form.

Well, Shakib may not be officially the captain of Bangladesh in WC'11. Also, both Kapil and Imran lifted the cup when the tourny took place outside subcontinent. IMO, Shakib is more likely to be the captain in WC'15 and lift the cup in Australia

in the subcontinent not always the best team win..4 example take the 87 and 96 wc...and also see our national league..dhaka has the best team but rajsahi has more trophies..

so dont count out Aus yet...remember they reached final in both 87 & 96..won in 87
