Yes, we have received 2 donations while I was away in vacation.

First, BangladeshCricket has donation BanglaCricket $20.

Second, Rio has donated BanglaCricket $50 dollars.

This makes our total collection $600.

Thanks to both of them from all BanglaCricket fans.

This is the second time you have done this. Consider this as a warning.

If you like to talk cricket, we welcome you. But if you continue to advertise for your personal site and just quote people's post for nothing, I've few words for you: you come to the wrong place.

I wouldn't mail anything to a man whose name starts with sheik!!

I would personally like to see bangla cricket die....it's a pretty boring sport. We should really start a thread that deals with helping our country control it's rampant population first....maybe get some sewers built into our cities, something a little more useful than cricket...just my .02 cents

Dear Arnab

There are other names, however, that does start with something else and they do care about this site.

You are right, we should help our country, but to choose the priority is more of a mix of personal choice and need. Cricket has been helping our nation in unique ways as more professionalism kicks in. Helping is not just about one or two things. If you look at the current cricket industry, I'm pretty confident that you will find a lot of youngstars find it productive, for themselves, their families not to mention, for the country, to engage themselves in a process that is both entertaining and career builder. It helps them to think bigger and better as they are exposed to various level, from district to international arena, of competition. Cricket just presents to them yet one more option to choose from and we all know that there aren't that many professional inroads available.

There is some truth to the notion that cricket is boring, but nonetheless it is entertainment. Entertainment is part of life and of productivity for that matter. A productive thing should not die, so should not the cricket of Bangladesh and banglacricket.com for that matter. Just my one cent.

Yes, Pompous. You got it right! I definitely would have used sarcasm green if I REALLY wrote that post.

BUT I DIDN'T!!!

Somebody else did.

Let me walk you through the thing:

I did not make that post. Why? Several reasons. First of all, I never use the ninja smiley. Secondly, I had no intention of writing in this thread in the first place. Why would I? Thirdly, the post clearly makes no sense if written by me. Something Pompous detected immediately and thought that my impersonator was being sarcastic. That is Pompous KNOWS I would never say such things. Which is kind of funny as far as my identity thief is concerned.

So, somebody else used my account. Now who can this person be? Well, I use this board from my college libraries; so maybe the login info are cached in one of the PCs and somebody used it from history. But that is highly doubtful, since virtually nobody in my college follow Bangladesh OR cricket.

The nature of the sabotaging post is also very interesting. First, it tries to portray me as someone who don't like Tehsin Bhai. Second, it tries to portray me as someone who want Banglacricket to die. Notice how the impersonator wrote "bangla cricket" (instead of "Banglacricket", the way I write it).

Also very curious is how Chinaman jumped in with a lengthy, almost rehearsed reply.

Shoddy work, Mr. Identity thief. You couldn't fool old timers like pompous.

This is an extremely dangerous and insecure messageboard. Someone can hack my account at will and post false posts under my name. They could probably alter this post as well.

So far we raised 600. However, we no longer need 1500, we got a server in partnership with kobitaogaan.com. So it will only cost us 750 dollars a year.

So we are a little short, but I am sure, our fans will help us reach the target real soon.

With the help for everyone, BanglaCricket has survived the crisis. Now we have a server. The move will probably start next week.

I thank everyone of you for this great help to keep us alive. BanglaCricket is safe, only because of you.

Thank you.

Default This is excellent news! Thanks for the update

Thank you Raana bhai and Tehsin bhai for working so hard to keep Banglacricket alive. And of course, our members deserve an ovation for coming forward and helping us out in the time of need. I am sure we will make the remaining amount soon.

Keep up the good work everyone
