2010 Asian Games Final. Bangladesh A beat Afghanistan with Ashraful and Shahadat in the playing XI.
But you're right about the haters.

Well I think Afghanistan has progressed quite a bit in the last 4 years. Also, Bangladeshi players have much better facility at home & international exposure..so we should really have a stronger side than them.
Currently Bangladesh boasts multiple world class stadiums (2 in Dhaka + 1 in Chittagong, Sylhet and Khulna), regular domestic cricket, much better financial incentives and on top of that we face test teams regularly. Meanwhile, Afghanistan is a war torn country with little to no infrastructure, so it's quite a feat that they have improved so much.

There was a riddle posed by the Riddler to Batman - What is always coming but never arrives.
The answer was - "Tomorrow".
So we should change the title of this thread to Today - or else we might always be waiting.
- in good humor.

Cricket is played at home, away and in neutral grounds. This one is played at home. Next year in Aus the match will be in neutral ground. I think at home, Bangladesh should win this match easily ... and that will probably not prove much.

We can never win with a bunch of players who are unprofessional and over inflated egos...Bd cricket is at it's lowest point ever...similar to when we got beat by Canada in the world cup

One thing I've noticed about Bangladeshi fans is that you are cocky. Every team wants to win but you still have to play well to win. It's time you realize this. You should definitely support them but without being so arrogant and overconfident.

I don't think it's cocky. We know our limitations. We are just excessively optimistic and emotional and get our hopes up too high. We don't necessarily are expecting to win but we so want the win that any other result is tantamount to being the end of everything that is good.

Dont mistake BD fans for your fans buddy. BD fans are not arrogant just hopeful and havin little faith in your team saying we will win doesnt mean your arrogant . Just being optimastic, nothing wrong with being optimastic.

^ After Pak-India match there were some people who thought BD still have a chance of playing in the final. That's not being optimistic that's foolishness.
