A very simple diplomatic statement to say "No". And Bangladesh government should not allow any security team to visit Pakistan. What's the point, spending all this money for nothing.
|
There is absolutely NO need to be diplomatic. Just say NO to this tour.

Finally the drama is over and ultimately we may have won this battle. BPL2 might lost some shine but it will very much survive. From next season, we won't even auction any of these players. We won't tour Pakistan, meaning they will be more isolated. All these 27 players will lose out on hefty money and none of our players will need to play their pathetic PSL.
And best of all, it is PCB's decision that made all this happen. Now no one can blame us.

Actually Mo bhai, ICC doesn't want to be a part of security clearance if I can remember correctly. But you are right, we need to show them how do human behave

anyway, the absence of Pak cricket is definitely going to hurt BPL,they really added a lot of value to this league but at the same time now it's sure that we r not visiting Pak.
There is a lot more for Pak to lose than us.
Pak players lost a way of very good income/experience aswell as they lost their best possible candidate for touring them.

I am not overly dissapointed simon. As long as our guys get more opportunity to prove themselves in the middle. Sure it takes away a little glamour, entertainment, but this means more cricket for our guys.

If Sri Lankan players comes in, the reputation of BPL will be back as Sri Lankan's will automatically replace Pakistanis. Plyaers like Jaywardne, Dilshan, Malinga, Ajantha Mendis Should be enough

BCB is being diplomatic here Asif IMHO. Mr. Hasan is not a "menda" person and tougher than what Zaka thought!

I'm glad Pak decided on the 11th hour not to issue NOCs. Was kind of expected. This has made the job very simple for BCB to send an unequivocal NO to tour them. BCB has been pathetic so far when all they had to say was NO right from the onset. I know Lota did his typical dirty stuff.
I for one don't think BPL will lose any gloss at all. Infact, this is a blessing in disguise for many additional young BD cricketers to showcase their talents and gain valuable experience -assuming more youngsters will play for different sides now. I think Pak cricketers are the real losers here. Not only they could have earnt some serious money but, also, an apportunity to make a name for themselves. What really would take the gloss away from BPL is the way they have dealt with players (unpaid) salaries and continuing on with their pathetic unprofessional ways. Nothing else.

Not giving the NOCs to the pak players is a phyric victory for the PCB. The real winner is the BCB.
Lets see:
-The pak players lose out on a years worth of income ++ (that they could have earned in just 4 weeks)
-Pakistan will not have any international cricket in the foreseable future
-Further isolation for the PCB
BCB
-Logistical problems to replace Pak players (Shouldn't be a problem as the pay is good)
-Bad publicity is good publicity. Bad publicity is good publicity. Bad publicitiy is....
-Smaller chance of illegal bookie activity.
So you tell me who's the true winner out of this saga.

At this moment PCB and LK has a bigger gain, because we have a bigger loss...
But, we will be benefitted in the long run...

this whole problem was created by najmul hassan, this guy constantly talking, when no one is asking. he start making ridiculous comments abt going and not going. and main problem was created by problem maker kamal, then stupid PCB--who doesnt accept their own countries security problem
but i think its blessing in disguise. BCB should change the rule of playing 5 foreign players. most BD captain like to use them as 5 main bowler and 5 top batsman. specially if the captain is SN.
limit should be 4 foreign player, so we get more local star.

Players unhappy with PCB decision
Meanwhile, Pakistan Twenty20 captain Mohammad Hafeez said the players will whole-heartedly accept the PCB’s decision on the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) but there are only a few who share his views.
“It’s not fair and there should have been some other solution,” a domestic cricketer told The Express Tribune. “If the decision was inevitable, the board must compensate the money that we will lose due to the forced withdrawal.”
Meanwhile, a senior PCB official said the board did not hold any discussion on compensating the cricketers.
“We haven’t discussed anything on providing compensation to the players yet and it will be premature to say anything on that.”

Hope the players remain hell bent on the compensation...PCB should be forced to pay for their ego..

this just keeps getting more amusing. On the other hand why dose the pak fans think that wihtout their player no one will keep their eyes on BPL? Bangladesh has enough people to make this tournament a hit (just like the last time)

They blinked and played their last trump card. Now they have no card left to leverage.
As for BCL, crossing my finger.... hopefully it will be another successful year.

Pakistan have no cards left on the table and no leverage anymore. This was their last move.
Have fun playing in Dubai for the next 1000 years.
