The downfall of Nasir with the bat is one of the saddest I have seen in Bd cricket.

With that start, bit more higher tempo. 350 would’ve easily gotten. Tamim had to gotten a 150odd with that opportunity he had.

Mahmudullah. What was he doing? Guy sucks the momentum completely. Played a run a ball on a highway.

On replay nasir shouldn't have been given out, it was not going to hit leg enough to overturn the decision, am not complaining, better be got out, but still needs to be pointed out, hawkeye has always had a massive weakness with yorkers on the full

This is some funny stuff. We have progressed so much, but other teams have done so as well. Sometimes I do wonder how would this current team fare in the 90s? I think I even made a thread for it once, asking the same question.

We are playing a T20 tri series next between India, SL and BD. That should be fun series. Rohit Sharma may be already licking his lips.

He should consider the series a failure if he does not get a triple hundred against SL.

Sabbir saved Bds late order hitting logga ....good hit ..24 of 12... and took Bd upto 320... which is long enough against srilanka, especially when u got mustafiz and sakib....
Cutter pitch I bet u guys , so mustafiz might take 6fa again ...

Stylish may be(depends on individual prospective) but both of them are awful commies..athar worse than shamim

His footwork became non existent and all he was sent out to do was slog.

Its not only with the bat....he was one of the our best fielders and then even that he failed to keep up.

They are both equally horrendous. But at least Athar gives my ears a respite. Shamim never stops speaking.

That was a good finish from Sabbir. Still with wickets in hand they could have scored 340. But Sri Lanka has bowled well in he death overs.

No, I think he is still our best fielder. Between him and Sabbir imo.
Even when he drops, his ground fielding is amazing. Great intensity, and contagious, helps the team zero in.

I would prefer Atahar any day over Shamim's commentary. Shamim cringe worthy jokes alone make it more pleasent to listen static noise

I know. If BD can't beat such an unstable team they should be relegated to associate level.

You must be joking

Shamim never shuts the hell up, Athar isn't great, but at least outside of the com box you can listen to him

Shamim takes 10 minutes to say one sentence, his sentence starts during one over and finishes in another over in the next innings

I think for interviews Tamim has usually been composed and relaxed and gives better answers. I think it has got to do with his better command of English.

I still remember he was asked in the WC 2007 when he was 17 years if he was concerned about facing a certain bowler: he replied I concentrate on the ball being bowled not who is bowling it (something between these lines)
