This kind of Below-average player's don't deserve to play in any sort of league except "Bodna Premier League". I think county team's got decieved with Shakib's No.1 Ranking. I do not think Bangladesh has any technical players that can play well on seaming/swing wickets.

Maybe internationally he sucks, Don't take the ranking seriously.

His good at home (condition), well most of our players are, but we only have one pure all-rounder in terms of our own standard.

Normally Shakib does well with bowling.. lets hope few wickets. 1 wicket down! come on Yorks have poor batting line-up.

pathetic batting? yes!! but don't be so harsh. he is back in the game after some time but we all know shakib always bounces back. all he needs is one good innings.

but shakib needs to understand the situation. he is a smart cricketer. his team was already 2 down and there was no need to come down the track and slog. he had a lot of overs..

Oh my Allah! I can't believe we have Blind fans we openly back Shakib Al Hasan! While he has been a failure with the BAT in county for the past 2,3 seasons! I guess we are always good with reason's to back our players. Lets use this reason! its his new wife... the wedding... etc. come on people be realistic.. don't make him like a top class player. relax and accept it his a decent player but no-where near world class and ranking

lol bro calm down. He is a world class player. His county t20 failure doesn't make him a decent player. I admitted that so far his performance has been very poor with Leics. But he will bounce back. There is a reason he dominates world ranking for 3+ years now.

It is disappointing to see Sakib not taking his T20 batting seriously, atleast I believe when he is serious about something ,he gets it.
It seems like he is happy with his economical bowling, & whatever he scores with the bat is a plus.
This is not good from a pro & a highly experienced & successful player.

Here comes Sakib & bowls a very economical over.
Surprised to hear Sak is ranked 4th bowler in T20s.

lol, this is crazy, top 11 T20 bowlers are all spinners, the eco rate comes into play more it seems.
Sakib 4th, Razzaq 6th

Leicestershire er poisha puratai paanite. Really embarrassing batting from a Test cricketer. One would have thought having faced Steyn, Anderson and co. the county bowlers would be daal vaat
I don't think it's because of a lack of skill but rather lack of intent. He needs to show more professionalism if he wants to be hired back next season

Shakib never really got going with the bat in UK conditions. This is one area where he needs to work on.

Yep, my sentiments exactly. He thinks whatever he scores with the bat, be it a run or 50, it's all just bonus.

His attitude is like a bowler who can bat!

Mufi bhai, that is not an excuse. It's the month of July and we're half way past the year after his surgery plus his marriage. There is no excuse, really, for such unprofessional performance from a number 1 all rounder with experience behind his name.

We need to be harsh with him, because he has set such high standards and expectations. And there's no significance of waiting to do well in one game. We don't want another Ashraful. He above all, knows what he's doing. He has been pathetic with the bat for Worcs in the T20 in his 2nd season, averaging less than 10, if I am not wrong. And we all saw the consequence. The Worcs owner had to publicly back him in the media but alas, Shakib played like an idiot and is continuing to do even now.

Apart from the responsibility, that he's been shunning, he needs to understand that, he needs to make a statement that he is a top 4 batsman. No wonder, KKR doesn't send him before 6!

haha, actually i was watching it live on tv and the replay i.e the hawk eye clearly shows it was out, but more than that the commies were also saying the same. so the 'bad umpiring is killing us' is following us everywhere
