Sangakkara walks in to bat
replay shows that there is a big inside edge onto Atapattu pads, so
bad decision from Asad Rauf
This is how the game goes....
|
yeah but thats by an onfield umpire who doesnt have the luxury for a replay to comnfirm his decision. Bashars went to 3rd umpire and i saw it there was no way he should have been given out.
|
I missed Bashar's dismissal. You may be right. Will comment on it after watching highlights tonight.
Hope they'd invent some laser-beam activated technical device which would judge on run-outs without umpires having to decide !

that was probably the 5. one run and 4 byes because of a terrible throw and no backing up.

Srilanka will get at least 30 runs lead before close of today's play.
Shahadat hasn't matured at all. Still bowling short balls after short balls.
This match will be finished within 2.5 days

Aftab lives up to his reputation once again. It is catches like this which turn the fate of matches.
With Samaraweera coming in, scoring will slow down I think. A plenty of batting still to come though.

Aftab is a player to watch. He has batting, bowling and fielding. If we turn back in one year, we'd have plenty to talk about him.

If Sri Lanka is restricted to less than 300, it would be a good comeback by Bangladesh. It is a pity that your batting folded up on a good batting strip. The R Premadasa Stadium is a bowlers' graveyard.

2 more wickets before close today and SL will be restricted below 300. but enamul and rafiq has to perform for that.

Cricket thousands of miles apart !
31.1 Warne to Pietersen, SIX, tossed up and outside the off, Pietersen
picks that up and smacks it into the stands at midwicket! Clean
hit that
24.3 Shahadat Hossain to Samaraweera, no run, on off stump, pushed to
cover
England 100/3 against Australia.
Sri Lanka struggling at 105/2 against Bangladesh.

Go_Bangladesh, Shahadat had delivered some around 85 mph today. Anyway, Syed has been far better, bowling much slower but maintain a good line and swinging the ball.
