This team is full of multi talented players and some good skilled players

but plate championship is not the one we r looking for

it's like 9th position out of 9 team

I am impressed with Mahmudul. He is very consistent with his batting performance, very much unlike BD players. He could be a possible replacement for Ash sooner rather than later.
Sabbir also looks good, a consistent hard hitter. I do not like flashes of talent show; I want consistency and good temperament.

Shaker Ahmed

Age: 17 years 215 days

Batting: Left-hand bat

Bowling: Slow left-arm orthodox

I think we need a tall spinner in our national squad. Shaker seems to have good potential. Looking at the height of his neck, he will be at least 6’2”

lets see what they can do in BD domestic cricket before saying they'll be in the national team soon. mahmudul is a consistent player, my issue with him is he rarely does "big" things i.e. he rarely takes bags of wickets and he rarely makes big scores but he consistently takes a couple of wickets and scores around 30-60 which is good but could make it hard for him to get an international spot because he's more of a rock than a match changing player.

shabbir has actually already done alright in the domestic stuff he's played but he still has a long way to go, shaker also needs time in the domestics. don't forget anamul haque and abul bashar, and alauddin babu has good pace so could be decent as well. also noor hossain is another spinner, who may end up an allrounder.

i wonder why they couldn't do this against the other teams. i know pakistan and windies are better quality teams but they seemed motivated today.

9th place er jonno ato koshto kora oshomman jonok byapar. After the two embarrassing loss, I wanted this team to forfeit the rest of the tournament and come straight home. In the least, they could come home and watch us beat India for the first time..

Oh wait...

i consider both our losses agt Pak & Windies as unfortunate. However, it was important for these guys to overcome their frustration and they have done that successfully.

Ireland has been the pain-in-the-neck for us at senior level. It was a good thrashing.

Kamrul Islam Rabbi (God knows how many of his name sakes are playing FC Cricket at the moment) ended up with a Hat-Trick! 3 cheers for him!

Shabbir Rahman warmed up for his SAF Cricket Call-up with a whirlwind knock.

Nur Hossain showed what a terrible blunder it was to leave him out in those all-important matches. With effective leg-spin and tremendous power-hitting he, surely, is going to be a great asset for BD cricket.

At least the boys are coming home with some sort of a trophy. It is good that they had fun playing Ireland. IMO, this is the highest score of the U/19 WC. Sri lanka had wracked up around 290 against SA who was under pressure to chase it..
Aust/Pak finals, rooting for Pakistan. I saw Mitch Marsh, brother of Marsh who plays for Australia and he had all the confidence of an invincible batsman, he won the game against SL for Australia.

yaayyy.. we are 9th in the world.. ki moja .. ki moja. Only the first and the 9th get a trophy. So no point trying for the first coz its difficult... lets take the easy trophy. We nearly beat Pak in the first round, today we could have been in the final but no. Bunch of £$%^%£!!

We beat Australia with ease :\ if only we did not choke, ahhh. it feels really irritating, If Aus takes the trophy, the frustration will reach maximum :\
