ro Congratz for opening this Cong thread. Favorite Player rocks (although currently less than Rock in the team but he is the only player known for sudden Eids).

No. But you will see a simple statement from me that is very rare in online communities:

"I am sorry, I was wrong."

সত্য কথা বলিঃ আমি may 17th i said somewhere in this forum: "losing in T20 in not the end of the world" কিন্তু এরপরে একদিন গোপাল ভার ভাইজান আরেক থ্রেদে বলেছিলেনঃ "who will open the celebration thread"?

some of you may be thinking: excuses, excuses, tch tch tch... but i speak truth, always!

if you guys met me in real life today: You guys would probably think i am a joke since i "talk" Islam all the time in this forum but sometimes fail to implement it in my own life...

well, i have learned my lesson! I broke many hearts including my own with that
celebration thread! well, to be honest with you, we didn't play as terribly that game..well who cares? we lost...!!!
i still remember the "all in one special Alok Kapali lynchmob thread..."

with that being said: I hope at the end of the day, Rommel bhai and this Bangladesh team stand tall...

Take it easy Rifat.

Preaching Islam or giving Dawah to others has been mentioned in the Koran as 'Hikmah'.

Btw it was GB who plays the trick?

Screw you Bruno! You don't walk into MY thread and tell me what to do. How about this deal Bruno? If Ash gets his century, you will never ever come back to BC. And if he doesn't, I'll give you a cookie. Deal?

Gee....looks like Celebration Square is the new bandwagon (read "hoojooog") in BC at the moment after ATMR's successful one for the first test. I can see a few more popping up in the ODI's as well. I've got to say this one was brave - anyone who has followed BD in the last few years would know that Ash (almost) always scores big in test matches only when there's nothing to play for other than decreasing the margin of the defeat and no expectation or pressure to win. It would be some achievement on his part to break that trend!

PS I do remember his hundred last year chasing a huge total against SL. The common denominator was that it was a 500+ target which no one expected us to chase instead of a gettable, pressure-filled 250ish something.

Ash er century lagbe keno? amader ki 300+ chase kortey hobey? Me thinks, he won't even get to bat. Top 4 will do the job chasing below or just around 200. When that happens, I will open a thread celebrating me.

Has happened. Will CONTINUE to happen. However, good luck trying to state that fact to the folks who are still in honeymoon with Ash.

Way to go ro.

BTW, what do I hear about this'love of your life'?
You're too young to think about that phase of life.

Kids these days, My younger brother involved a girl in his life before I even thought about that.

Looks like we'll need the Eid to perform today. Bernard is treating this as ODi/20-20. They know that if they put up 220 plus our batsmen may help their cause with some easy dismissals. In fact, they are probably banking on it.
