thanks everyone for your kind remarks... Obayed bhai deserves to open this thread anyways because:
1. it is him who helped me prepare the previous thread
2. I am just a kid...i consider myself these days "BC Imam"(arrogant comment!)....when things look the bleakest, people give up hope, we Bangladeshi people usually draw inspiration from Islam when things tend to not go our way..., when my time arrives again i will inshallah open another match thread.
3. He has a better winning record than i do

I don't know which world do you guys belong to. Everone is created equal. If Rifat is so lucky going forward Bangladesh will not lose any game if he opens the thread, correct? Wel-come to fools paradise, guys. Thanks for the nice words at the end. We all want BD to win but not by hurting someone's feelings. Kalpurush is a genuine BD lover so please leave him alone. I must thank him for all good things that he has done for us. Joy Bangla, we will win inshallah.

It was Raqibul, but it was a tough one! He was diving forward!

I finally slept in peace yesterday.. it's going to be hell of a final tomorrow.. camon tigers, this is the best chance.. no Vaas, no Malinga and no Dilshan... tigers must take advantage of this.. I know Shakib will be their main target though that doesn't worry me..as long our freaken top orders can get the things right we should be fine.. I don't want to see anymore run out.. that's my last word..

This was the best gift as a fan to relish. As I am at my work place in first state I went to bed in the hotel after checking cricinfo in my blackberry knowing that fog is haltering the start. I went to work completely oblivious about the game, and just when pointed my browser to cricinfo the whole day was made right there.
Hoping to watch the final during the weekend in Nashville and probably a good fight will be put up again.

i say such things because i find myself preaching to BanglaCricket 24/7 in the recent 9 months or so... (i know some members are seriously a nnoyed with this attitude of mine, some are not...) but no worries, my college vacation is almost over and from next week Rifat will probably not visit BC as much...
alhamdulillah, at least Allah agrees with me and at times that's all that matters
it is me in the match thread that prayed আল্লাহ তুমি আজকে রহম কর when we were 11/3...my heartbeat was soaring at that moment.
another sad thing to note: after the lost to zimbabwe, i truly felt sorry for BanglaCricket people..i never felt this Bitterness from people like Miraz and others... the bitterness was at it's optimum, i felt like BanglaCricket would explode!
that is why i decided to gamble(by opening match thread) and i won alhamdulillah and now everyone is happy.
we didn't just win we Thrashed them.
notice something else: behind every famous Bangladesh victory we have "5 wickets" behind it!
i am enjoying every second of my arrogance
i love answering critics through "Islam" a noble cause worth defending

Reading these threads, I have noticed that many BD fans are sounding a wee bit arrogant about this win against SL. Remember the convincing win against NZ, then Nz came back and beat BD in the other games and won the series. Indeed, it is a time to rejoice and thank Allah for a much needed win, and pray that our team perform like this in future matches.BD has managed to win games against SL and NZ who normally beat them, now, they have to beat WI and England, and never allow Zim to beat them again.
I am overjoyed at this win, I really wanted BD to beat SL one day, but humility after winning is the way to go.Savor the win, but do not underestimate your opponent. SL has a way of regrouping.
