BD_Shardul, you might as well open the "frustration venting thread" for 2nd match in advance, because the result will be same.
In case miracle happens, we can turn that into celebration thread

thats not at all siddons' fault. honestly, our mentality is so effed up, the shrinks don't know how to explain it.
pure lunacy and selfishness on the batsmen's part to think they are not accountable. very hasina/zia like if you ask me.

well it could be scary for people when entire stadium was out of electricity concerning current pakisan's situation. Most probably that has an effect on the entire game. If I was there instead of those players I would be always felt like srangling by someone in that situation in pakistan. But afterwards once again we failed to show our match improvement. Basically all the blame should go to batsmen, specially Ashraful, Aftab, S. nafees. This team should be mixed and fullfiled by some old and experince fellows like Javed Omar, Alok, Razin and Hablu. We have seen enough of these so called talented batsman. As an example current pakistan team is mixed of old and new guys. And plese do consider those guys who are years after years keeping well form in national leages and are not picking up, on contrary these morons who even recently couldn't make much impact in the NCL are still picked up and we are paying the price by the mockery of others. Ei lojja kuthay rakhi

I am a concerned fan. Everyone here is venting their frustration at this poor showing of BD cricket.
First of all, the players did not have a proper training camp prior to travelling. They had no time to really relax, get their thoughts together. they flew out to Pakistan at 3AM, so that means no sleep for that night. In Karachi, they had to wait and change planes to go to Lahore. Transfer time and reaching hotel takes hours to settle down, IMO, they are still suffering for lack of sleep for one night, then the anxiety of the game, not on home ground, thinking about security etc. They only had the morning of the match to really do any training, no practice matches.
These are young players trying to adjust mentally. They bowled and fielded first. I looked at them very closely, they were yawning, Tamim looked bleary eyed. By the time they came out to bat, they were physically and mentally drained, also to chase 322 runs is a massive hill to climb.Pakistan took advantage of the situation and pounced upon them like lions going for the kill. pakistan is also hungry for success in cricket especially after the troubles they were having. They played their best players, did not take any chances with young, inexperienced players
BD batting reminded me of India batting in the first innings of the 2nd Test against SA.
CLUELESS and DAZED. They had already realized that a great blunder was made by not playing another seamer and they felt that the game was already lost.
Then think about the power failures which happened twice. Huge disadvantage. upsets concentration badly.
Now, they are travelling by bus to Faisalbad, then only one day of training.
i know everyone here is blaming all the players, selection etc, IMO, Siddons is the one who made a big blunder. I am not trying to make excuses for poor performances, just stating my observations, so pls dont be upset with me.
Also, i think Siddons is tinkering too much with batting style of a few players, they should play in their natural style, this is making them worse, not better.

I think we lost this match spcialy because of depending too luch on our spinners(same left arm spinners).
We are the only team to use 2 fast bowlers alway.
Look at Pak with 3 fst bwlrs(Tanvir,Gul & Iftkhr rao)
We also need to use may be like Mash,Reza/Shhdt/ & Rasel.
Finally failure is the pillar of success but it seems like the pillar is falling on our heads so often.(lol)

bhua bhua bhua.. all was bhua... exept maybe a tiny tiny part.. the only unbhua thing in this match was mashrafe getting his hundred wickets.. its a good thing he did.. i'd been waiting for a long time.. it made my misery a lot less.. i was actually on top of the world when mash got his 100th wicket even though pak was playing really good.. and the light failures.. pathetic.. it actually made the situation 10 times worse.. and once again, BHUA
