Aussies are sorely missing McGrath, Warne, Langer and Gilchrist

what was so great about Mushy's innings was that not only he batted from #8 but also, he single handedly took the score to 250 in this green bouncy wicket against currently one of the best bowling lineups in the world. i was hoping for an encore in the second innings...but oh well

Smith was at his peak, de Velliers was brilliant - but for me the man of the day was JP Duminy. Any batsman would be proud of the way that he batted after failing in the first inning on his debut. I'm sure the Australians gave him the verbal stick when he walked out to bat in the second inning with the test match on the balance.

ABD is my favorite player outside the Bangladesh squad. How long since he has been playing? just look at him and Ashraful... what a difference

SA's positive batting right from the start of the 2nd innings facing a target of 400+ runs was outstanding.

the win wasn't how i envisioned it.
i expected paul to get caned, ntini to perform moderately and steyn bowl beautifully.
i expected mckenzie to hold one end while smith flops. i expected kallis to fail miserably. i expected boucher to save sa from disgrace.
i need to work on my punting.

Aus going down 277/6. Ponting 100 and the rest crap. Clarke is competing with Dravid/ Kallis for most boring batsman
