Every body is not the same.

I drink beer and a shot of liquor at least twice a week. Still in tip top shape. It's all about moderation.

Chewing raw garlic (a clove) is enough to get you through the day.

Surprised to see peanuts so low; added bonus

Is it honey-roasted peanuts or salted?

That’s what I thought and substituted honey with sugar. But that chart confused me.

I think zee said it before but avoid artificial sugar like a plague. It’s in a lot of everyday food/drinks.

Basically cut down on pre packaged food and drinks.

Date and honey are calorie condensed. So it should be great snack before endurance or other long workouts.

LOL!!........... ^^

But how do you eat in your dates anyway? Someone needs to be in Patrick Bateman slash Hannibal Lecter state of mind.

Have you ever had a date in a date? If iftar date counts then i did. ok i am being silly now.

But seriously have you ever took a hijabi girl out on a date? They are a lot of fun. But you have to choose wisely. Not the one wearing burqa but has a strong voice and she wears burqa as a form of feminism display - not that one. they need a different type of guy to calm them down , stay away from those.

I am talking about the one who wears hijab as an afterthought because that's what the family expectation is. Those are some freaks waiting to unleash on you. I know one that briefly worked in hooters. All those amazingness hidden from mens sight - afsos.

Girls like that makes you wanna go to the gym every day.

My favorite is Manuka Honey (UMF 15+). Sickness and death are in the hands of the Almighty, but most people I know stopped catching even the occasional cold after incorporating it in their diet, granted these folks are mostly in their mid 30s to early 40s.

I pretty much quit eating chinese food several years ago mostly because of MSG. These days I've been reading its not as bad as it was thought to be; includes Mayo Clinic resources. Here's a sample article via quick google search...

InshahAllah after a few weeks will be taking my son on a 2k park run. On weekends they have these events. My wife and her siblings do the 5k on Saturday and we do the 2k (mainly geared for kids) on Sundays. You scan a band and your time is given at the end of the race. Its quite popular in our area.

I think it is important that you take part with exercising activities with your children. It not only builds good memories for them but could also encourage them to exercise when they get older.

On the topic of honey, some people recommend the people who suffer from hay fever to consume honey locally produced.

Some of my cheese connoisseurs colleagues enjoy cheese dipped in honey. Its quite nice.

Good to know! We as a society- when we tend to vilify something- we really tend to do it. I mean people have existed 10-15 years gorging on Chinese food. Not necessarily all of a sudden it'd mess them up. Esp. if you are a Home Depot load carrier with no VISA you be burning it off. LOL ...Okay...

First it was trans fat. Now it is all about sugar, MSG, gluten etcetera and carbs.

I think everything in this God's universe has a potent and small pungent benefit. Check this out. Nicotine which is different from tobacco can also have 'benefits'.

Please consult your physician before starting any of these. These are not meant to be substitute for medical advice and just opinions from vlogs.

Dr. Rhonda Patrick on the other hand has PhD, a genius and a walking encyclopedia and has the guts to call bullshit for what it is regarding mental illness and over medication.

Speaking of guts, probiotic and prebiotic is another biggie nowadays. I personally drink Kombucha once in a while and my momma tries to take care of her gut flora with yogurt. Again, I am unsure as to how much is it backed by solid evidence...

Do check out gut brain and connection.

@Zee, @Mufi and @iDumb bro
Proti Taan e Shukh taan I love smoking. I know its bad, and it has serious health effects, but I just cant stop smoking. I find it enjoyable and thought it helped me through tough times. It helps to cool me down, helps me to pass time when I am bored. I was a heavy smoker in my college days, used to smoke 10-12 Cigarettes a day, sometimes more. Now I only have 4 cig a day. Still never had the desire to cut it off completely. I feel empty inside when I dont smoke.

But I know its a trap, and I should get out of it before its too late. I will most likely start going to Gym or Maybe give e-Cigarettes a try.

@Roman bhai

Well not sure eCig is a safer alternative. I fully understand. (Good thing about California is everyone pretty much brainwashed me into this 'idea' "if you are gonna smoke, might as well do weed" so I never had to deal with addiction problem bar some other disgusting substance which weed helped me to wean out and ultimate quit. But then you get to a point, where you question those - the sp called benefits of cannabis !!)

Now of course, I won't recommend cannabis or anything unhealthy that replaces smoking. But the 'good' thing is you don't feel guilty about it. My personal hypothesis is that is it smoking that really kills or the INTENSE feeling of guilt associated with it that damages the cells?

Obama quit after his daughter was born. Regardless of politics, I can respect that. I respect pretty much any person who turns his life around. Good news is there IS solution! As I mentioned, try Alan Carr.

But don't think eCigs, hookah or vape are healthier alternative. Try patches or anything. But at the end of the day, hey! It's your life. If you have a vice that makes you feel good and relaxed at the end of the day, who am I to convince you otherwise?

FWIW, donate that 8 bucks or whatever now you spend to Masjid donation!! Hahahahaa got you now. Now every time you light up you will feel guilty that that money could've fed someone. I am Hitler huh?

THIS is your main root problem according to my diagnosis!! LOL!! Why not replace your habit with an alternate healthier habit? Prepare to run a marathon or be an athlete or pick up cricket? Being an athlete will automatically force you to quit. Just like Obama you need a BIG why.

try to cut down on oily foods. use organic real honey instead of Sugar. if you buy a very nice big plate of biriyani be a man and split it across 2 meals instead of devouring all in one go.

Hiking or Biking also helps. Alhamdulillah i climbed up Machu Pichu in peru amd some other local mountains. totally worth it.
Well done.

I am 182 and need to reach 160 ASAP. My vitals are borderline and noway can let them creep up to hazardous limit.

If you come to England, avoid Chinese restaurants and takeaways due to bad taste and hygiene issues. Also very less likely you will get halal unless owned by Bangladeshi.

The only Chinese, which has a proper halal section is China Tang at the Dorchester hotel in London. Its pricey but worth it, especially for the Peiking Duck and fresh sea weed.
