Looks like our batsmen got too confident after the win the other day. Oh well, our bowlers are going to have to bowl really really well to save our butts again.
Proper cricketing shots were getting them enough runs - there was no need to go for ugly hoicks. Dumminy being a beast didn't help either.

Btw, the slowness of the pitch might just help us from here. It's a dead rubber anyways, so I hope they learn from this and put up a better show against the still vulnerable Aussies.

as it was, SA is at an advantage by batting second..add the lowish score, we might as well as concede the game unless we get quick and cheap wickets..

I don't see anything wrong in the game plan. Go and enjoy as the match does not have any importance.
Unfortuanely we lost Ashraful cheaply and the run out of Sakib, otherwise we could have easily scored 180+.
I am sure if the top order haven't scored those runs or kapali played at number 3, he would have played the same.
It was inability to play at this level not any planned game for kapali.

Rifat Bhai nope. You only held innings steady by rotating the strike not by playing dot balls. lol.

huh!!!! Oh yes!!
he is the best player in the world for holding the innings or second best after JO?
For the same reason we should immediately bring JO back in the T20 squad.

I dont agree with you. I think he did a pretty good job although he struggled to find his timing.

What's been on Kapali's mind? I really failed to read his mind. Any clues?

They didn't have to play every shot in the air. You gotta work the ball around and rotate the strike also. If you hit a couple of boundaries, the bowler is going to try something radically different. The shots were amazing, but there were some really bad ones. This match has exposed our limited depth in hitting the down the order.

I think we have little chance if we take 2 or 3 early wicket. 144 is below par score but any thing can happen in T20.
