why wasnt the captain/coach thinking then in the days of bonus points and duckworth lewis ? Is it a improvement that Ash played not a normal game and ppl are praising him that he played responsibly ?
I guess its more of a attitude, where is the BD from the world cup ??
Again where is rasel ?

My wild guess is ... none calculated that ... perhaps even Siddons, otherwise he would have informed Ash through late batsman came in the field.
Btw, Rassel is injured as thay say.

BCB can not find and nuture a decent batsmen who can stay in wicket and score runs and a decent bowler to back Mashrafee from millions millions of people after all these years. May be we can not see the main reason of these huge failures and as he are comapratively living better we never will understand the reason behind not getting quality players. If this type of cricket goes on, we will just go backwards.
I can't imagine having Farhad and a young kid like Dollar bowling against these experienced batsmen, what is the point of using them and destroying their confidence.

I think he meant 130-140 short. It was either typo or slip of tongue.

Gone are those days where we made Eng sweat chasing some 150 runs. Now, without Syed Rasel and Rafiq we cant even defend 300 runs let alone scoring it.

Regardless whatever Siddon Says about the target 230. I don't know where he is comming to that number.
220-230 are not defendable scores for any quality teams in these kind of pitch. Teams like India routinely scores close to 300 and beound against average bolwing strength like Pakistan. To expect to shut down teams like India within 220-230 by our bowlers is called "Extreme Dreaming"... by that I mean you need to dream under influence.
