First up, it's closer to being a dictatorial site than a democratic one. Nafis's suggestion would no way make BC look dictatorial. On the other hand he suggested that if people actually know why those other members got banned then maybe the current members who have the inclination to do similar stuffs would know that they might be next. In other words people who dont want to get banned would stop doing things that actually got people banned.
note to admins: this is not my suggestion, I just tried to elaborate on Nafis's suggestion that shafin seems to have misunderstood.

About that "people who do not want to get banned" thing....
There are several very clear and straightforward steps which are followed before a member is banned. For first few violations, a member is always warned either via public warning or PM. Most often, a final warning is given before putting a ban on him/her. So incase of "people who do not want to get banned" .. they do get ample opportunities to restrict themselves from facing a ban. There has been countless examples of members who realized their mistakes and later became valuable posters in BC.
The only instances where immediate bans were imposed without warnings happened when spammers signed in BC just to post some extrememly abusive languages or comments about other members/bangladesh cricket/bangladeshis/any other nationalities.. stuff like that.

I assume they actually read the forum rules and agreed to them as part of the sign-up process?

It wasn't meant to be the translation of what Zunaid bhai posted. Rather it was a response to Zunaid bhai's post. I was stating the fact of biggest excuse, i.e. "I didn't know that" is still the biggest excuse.
Now you can start pulling your hair again.

Your assumption is a bit flawed. Most people would not read the rules before signing up. Its like no one ever reads the EULA before installing a software.
I myself did not read the rules before signing up, only when I had an argument with an admin and was warned of not breaking the rules, I went through them so that I could still put my point through staying within the rules. Did not do me much good though. But I am still the same person so chances of getting a permanent ban is always there.

Suggestion:
Fans from BD may help post videos of games or highlights of rising young players
Specially those players who gets call for a debut and also those who are in the pipeline of selection ladder. I do not know if there is any show in any BD channel where they call rising cricket stars like Dhiman, Rakibul, Mahmudullah and show there game footage.

I think that a live score thing should be on the home page of this website. It is better than a scorecard that is updated every night or so on. And if there is no one to control, just take the score from Cricinfo and put it on here. It saves time for other people if they have slow internet or can't be bothered going to Cricinfo.

At the end of each front page article/report, it would be nice if we have a feed-back link ( a link to a thread itself).
Each front page articles/reports are (in general) great to read. However I see that there are some good discussion and new veiw points by other memebers in seperate thread which kind of lost in time.
The above suggested link at the end of the article will keep these two in sync even if someone read old intertesting front page articles.
Just a thought... oh.. no ... I don't want to volunteer.

I think it will be easier for mods/admins and etc if normal members are allowed to delete their own posts, edit their thread tittles, delete their posts and etc!!!

I always heard and have seen people do that...but I could NEVER find that option. All I hear is 'go to advanced editing mode'. Man, in the advanced editing mode, there's NOTHING to delete the post. Why not just show it to dumb idiots like me?

Announcement
Firstly, tomorrow, 1st September is Mushfiqur Rahim's 19 th birthday.
apart from Ashraful, Mushy is my favourite, he is cute and very matured for his age and he has a sharp cricketing brain. I watch the games Bangladesh plays because of him.
Let's join together to wish him all the best for the future and may Allah bless him.
Also, if there can be a field somewhere on your website where we can email the players.
Sri lanka has such a field on their website. We have emailed Sangakkara and Jayawardena and received replies from them.
