Trinidad wanted him for their domestic four-day competition, but he indicated that he was committed to playing the entire BPL.
How about Kieron Pollard and Fidel Edwards??

I think we're 1 batsman short. We need strong top order batsman and I don't think Jamshed or Simmons will do well in this format. I think Khulna have been wise buying Jayasuriya and Gibbs. Amonsgt the Bangladeshi batsman we have 3 in form players in Tamim, Riyad and Jahurul so hopefully we can put decent runs on the board. But I've got a feeling during the big matches that our batting and the lack of an x-factor type player that Dhaka Gladiators have is going to cost us. I don't think this team is capable of chasing 160+.
Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones will arrive on Sunday to take up the post of technical director at Chittagong Kings during the Bangladesh Premier League, said a press release on Friday.
Jones, a member of the Australian World Cup winning squad in 1987, was considered as one of the greatest one-day batsmen for his aggressive batting.
He will arrive on a Malaysian Airlines flight and will
be an integral part of Chittagong Kings in their build-up to the cash-rich tournament beginning on February 10.
Michael Bevan, another Australian, is also due to arrive shortly as he has been appointed as the batting coach of the Chittagong side.
Khaled Mahmud will be the head coach of the team that faces Duranto
Rajahahi on the opening day of the Bangladesh
Premier League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
