See, thats what I mean by our best players performing poorly! Javed Omar and Rajin Saleh were supposed to be the ones to hang on! Typical. Watch the wickets fall one by one now....

Default Simply Speechless: From 57 for 2 to 128 for 3

I was in my class when I saw BD A were on 57 for 2, and after returning to class I saw BD A are 128 for 3 and Rajin Saleh got out just a few minutes ago.

I am simply speechless. Bhashay Prokash Korar Moto Na.

I'd really like Nazimuddin to play an innings of substance. Aftab has shown some signs of what he can do, so has Nafees, now its Nazim's turn. Unfortunately Moniruzzaman had to miss out on the fun.

CricInfo seems to be stuck at the same score as everything else.

Yes. But I am doing my homework on sampling and aliasing of digital signals as well.

Arafat, Rubel (Mosaddek) and Sumit (Fahim) are all all-rounders of Shujon standards when it comes to batting. If we get lucky, they might add 30-60 runs between them.

Disappointing show by Nazim. 165/4 after 50 overs.

Good thing is Nafis scored a ton. Cheers Kiddo.

Default well,

Nazim was run out so we can't really say much about that. Good show by Nafees. But I hate looking at scorecards where one person does all the scoring and all the others get out for 12.

Can't wait to see what Nafis does in the second innings. Hate to say this but we may want to try Nafis in place of Golla in the first test. We can bring Golla at three. I know that it will upset the balance of team but trying out a potential won't hurt our chances.

Also, this isn't based on just one performance - I have been eager to see Nafees in national colors for over a year now.

I wouldnt mind it either. Tehsin bhai makes a good point. Just because number 6 is our problem doesn't mean we need a number six batsman. We can have Nafees open with Hannan, drop Golla down to 3 or 4, depending on whether Sumon wants to hold on to 3 or not, and have Rajin and Alok bat 5 and 6 like they did against Pakistan. Then Mashud, Mahmud, Masri, Tapash and Rafiq.

Whatever, I seriously hope they take a genuine batsman instead of Mushfiq.

Default 179 for 6!

The spinners are into the act and both have got a wicket. Nafees out for 118. Excellent effort, deserves to be in the selector's thoughts for the first Test.

What Mushfiq can do, Shujon and Kapali can do better. However, an extra batsmen will increase our scoring option. I just don't see Mushfiq even picked for the A team for a first class tour, so it's hard for me to digest the posibility of him playing test cricket (if he plays - I'll be behind him 100%).

Mushfiq does help our one day side, but not the test side.

Default Since we seem to be a batsman short

we could have given Tushar a try in this match. We are trying out six bowlers, Sunny, Fahim, Rubel, Aziz, Talha and Kabir. Half of them have no chance of getting into the Test side. We should have given Tushar some match practice.

We would not have to worry about our batting if Ash used some sense - he is not Vaughn or even Sumon but atleast a 30-40 average from that kid isn't much to ask, is it ?
