Thankfully some cricketers are right. Dharmasala is a high scoring pitch, totally different from what we see in Mirpur.

The qualifying and main matches will be preceded by four warm-up games. Oman, who will compete in the qualifier of the men's event, had recently trained at the facility and played against the state players.

" Nepal lost its T20 International Status after a miserable performance in ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers 2015 in Ireland and Scotland. Following the status loss, they are unable to compete in the mainstream tournament organised by International Cricket Council (ICC).
After the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) was downsized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in April 2015, it was announced that upcoming Asia Cup events will be played on rotation basis in One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) format based on respective next world events under the ICC. I have serious doubt that we are going to make it out of the qualifying round. Netherlands, Ireland take this format more seriously than we do. We lost to freaking Hong Kong last time around and that too at home.

Both awesome matches, I love associates! Oman beat HK despite a Babar 122(60) and Afghanistan was beaten by their nemesis UAE again, with Rohan Mustafa heroics. Pitches like this produce great games.

HK's Chapman was Mankaded run out,
From cricinfo -
Hong Kong's situation seemed desperate when Aizaz was sixth out in the 17th over, with 48 needed from the last 21 balls. But Hayat smashed four sixes in the 18th over, bowled by the left-arm spinner Zeeshan Maqsood, to bring the equation down to 18 from 12 balls. But the momentum swung back in Oman's favour after a tight 19th over in which Bilal Khan conceded only three runs, and Hayat fell in the final over, going for a big hit with 11 needed from the last three balls.
I was just refreshing my cricinfo app and it was a stunning experience.

The law should be fair and consistent. I love what's going on here.

Our biggest Challenge:
1. Lack of big hitters. Nobody can can walk in and hit a six first ball like Dhoni, Raina Afridi etc
2. Bowlers are dudh vaat with Bat
3. Mashrafi hasnt figured out captaincy in t20 format

Soumya is the only big hitter...
While I may get crucified for saying this, but Mashrafee is a liability in T20. I wish Mashrafee was with the Bangladesh team as a manager instead of Shujon, but as a player he is not very effective.

How ironic of you to discuss about big hitters and calling the biggest hitter in the team a "liability"

No faster way to build a negative reputation in BC than to go after Mashrafi. The fact that the guy is the greatest captain we ever had, puts his knees on the line each day he walks out to the field and gives everything from his heart for the team, warrants respect not ridicule. He doesnt have to many years in those worn out legs and I cherish each and every game he plays for us in any format regardless of his performance. The day he retires cricket wont be the same for me.
