Game is well balanced... if we can break the current partnership early tomorrow., then we have got a chance to bowl them under 300.

What's the point of having 3 frontline spinners when the opponent isn't Australia/England? Bangladesh has missed a trick by not including a second seamer...

...pacers aid in getting the ball to scruff up for the spinners.
One pacer can't do this. At least two seamers required per game in this format.

This is the perfect team of “putuputu” mentality, reflects the mental state of captaincy and management. No killer instinct!

If your spinners are world class. Then you play >2

Not impressed by Riyad for his defensive captaincy. Ariful should have got a few more overs, specially with the new ball.

If Khaled is worse than Abu Jayed, I doubt a second seamer would've made a difference.
Rahi can swing it both ways but lacks the accuracy, judgment, and pace.

It's a flat pitch not offering much to the batsmen. Also, we are using a limited over spinner in a test match

Rested and seems like we are trying to test out a couple of players. I have a feeling that him and Khalid will get the nod for the Dhaka test.

Yup I agree.. should've bowled at least 10-12 overs at the very least. Didn't get a chance to see him bowl but that 4 overs indicate he was tidy

If Bangladesh loses this test, I don't think Riyad will ever captain the side again

Anything over 350 will really challenge Bangladesh as I expect the pitch to deteriorate and Bangladesh is likely to bat last unless Bangladesh puts on a mammoth total. still looks like very decent conditions for Batting.

I don’t understand this bizarre mentality regarding ‘Riyad the bowler’. Many times in the past I’ve cringed when I’ve seen Riyad come on, take a wicket and get changed rightaway - wondering what the hell is wrong with the captain as he is a very capable offspinner. But today he was the captain himself! Does he just not have any faith in his own ability as a bowler anymore?
