Well done UAE! They look good enough to go past qualifying rounds in WC.

On paper, it may seem like we won by a big margin but in reality, the performance witnessed in this series (apart from a couple of the guys) has been subpar at best. In fact, quite pathetic.

In last one year, we lost to Afghanistan (ICC rank 10), Zimbabwe (11th), and Scotland (15th). With that perspective, a series win against UAE (13th), that too sans Shakib, is something I gladly take. With BCB's lack of vision, we never put enough emphasis on building a good T20I team/culture. I think team management/most fans thought somehow our respectable performances in ODI would automatically transform into T20I as well - an assumption that has been proven wrong over and over again.

I don't expect miracle to happen in upcoming Tri-nation series or World Cup. As long Shakib can rally those guys and can build a better competitive team, I will be happy.

I think despite the wins this shows the team’s inability to play t20.

The batsman doesn’t have that mentality to go for it.

This BPL tournament normally doesn’t allow pitches which are atleast neutral. Extremely bowler friendly and low scoring.

In order to reach or defend large scores the pitches need to be conducive.

The selectors handicap the team with the wrong selection doesn’t help.
