10.00am The inspection is done and play will begin at 10.30am! This is great news, hopefully we will have Murali bowling at some point of time today, but before that, I also hope to see some of his trademark leaden-footed slogging! Efforts are on to try and get in 95 overs of play today. Light permitting, play can go on until 5.45pm.

Sri Lanka are targeting an innings victory here. Can they knock down the mighty Indian line-up twice in two days? The pitch is assisting and their bowling looks decent. They are missing a good pacer to bowl the short balls. Malinga is on comeback. Where is Thushara? They must get a couple of wickets today to have a chance so batting the whole day is out of question. You can tell with the way they are batting they are offering the Indians a wicket so that Murali can bat. It's just that the Indian bowlers are too damn crap to take the offer.

And they finally get one. Mithun looks decent but his real test will be when he has to bowl on the roads back home. Murali to bat for the last time.

man,even Herath & Malinga scored 50+ against the Ind bowlers.
now only Sehwag is fighting,Gauti,Rahul & Tendu are gone.
According to me Sri are the most balanced Test team,with excellent batting,excellent spin+Fast bowling attack & great fielding.
