What happens if I select a player that does not play? Any effect on points?

If player doesn't play then:
- For home team player you don't get any points.
- Similarly for foreign team player you don't get any points deducted.

Yea, I know its taking forever; but thats cause its not only fantasy. There are other stuff linked to it; and I cannot put in the scoring system unless those other parts are done! Patience is the key
