From frustration I also sometime asked for Ashraful's exclusion from team but now I am also thinking so far he is our only player who can play Murali at ease.I am not taking anything away from Sakib. But Ash innings made Sakib's life easier in the crease,Ash took pressure away from sakib. When he scored
our team score go higher

I was expecting this move. we need to play two spinners in Chittagong pitch. I was thinking to axe an batsman...nevertheless, right way to go by adding a spinner in that "nara" pitch.

Ironinically our lower middle order is much better equipped to combat the spinners than the top order batsmen. Shakib, Mehrab, and Mushfiq seem to have a plan when playing spin. They leave the crease, use the sweep to good effect, and also read the variations well. On the other hand, Junaid, Tamim, and Raqibul to an extent also look leaden footed and clueless against quality spin. The top 4 have to make a remarkable improvement in this game if we hope to survive 4 sessions.

I wouldn't like it if Robin is dropped. He has bowled consistently well in the last test match. He seems to have a plan when bowling. Keeps tight line and length and has bothered the batsmen with his swing. This is not the right way to reward a fast bowler for his effort. I would rather see Mehrab sit if Enam has to come in.

Ajantha Mendis and his Carrom Ball
The above picture clearly shows that he has three different grips and releases.
The first picture shows how he grips and releases the ball when he is bowling a Googly. Yes a Googly, he is an offspinner who can bowl a googly, the ball releases from the back of his wrist the seam is up and he uses the flick of his middle finger to spin the ball. He can bowl a flipper also with the same action but for that the seam should be straight in up right position.
The second picture shows him bowling a conventional off spin it is a normal grip for an off spinner the ball is in the front and not so difficult for a batsman to pick. The third picture which is unfortunately a bit cropped but you can watch the video, he is bowling a doosra or a leg break the ball is again in the front and the middle finger is placed firmly behind it in a flick position like a carom strike, his pinky, ring and index finger will be raised when the ball is delivered it will be very hard for him to keep them down, he cannot bowl a lot of these deliveries as they must be quite painful for his middle finger. The three raised fingers will be a clear sign for the batsman.
If a batsman is paying attention to his grip and release of the ball he can definitely work him out.
If Ajantha later on manages to bowl an off spin with the same action with which he bowls the doosra he will definitely be unplayable, I have seen bowlers who bowl offspin and legspin by flicking their middle finger but none with a cricket ball all of them used to bowl with a tennis ball with tape rolled over it, the trick is in the placement of the middle finger and the seam position for doosra the middle finger is placed at the lower edge of the seam on the right side, and for off spin it will be placed on the left side.

Salman knows how to play Ajantha
Pakistan opener Salman Butt claims to have found the key to success against Sri Lankan mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis after watching him bowl during the Indian Premier League trials for Kolkata Knight Riders.
"He bowls like the typical finger tape tennis bowlers you find playing on the streets of Pakistan and his success comes from the fact that he has a very good faster ball without any visible change to his bowling action or grip on the ball," Butt told PTI. Butt said he would now be more comfortable while facing up to the unorthodox off-spin of Mendis during Pakistan's upcoming series against Sri Lanka.
"At the end of the season, Mendis had appeared in trials for the Kolkata Knight Riders and I got a chance to watch him bowl and also played him in the nets," Butt said.
"He uses his top finger to obtain speed off the surface and turn without changing his action," the opener added.
Bowlers who use just two fingers to obtain turn and speed from tennis balls covered with tape in street cricket in Pakistan are described as tape tennis specialists.

The rumours I am hearing about dropping Alam, if true, would be unfortunate. I hope this is not the case. He is a genuinely good bowler and should be persevered with. Personally, I would drop Shahadat and bring in Enam. However, Enam lately has not set the world on fire either. It is interesting that in the meantime, Sakib has gone on from being a 10 overs "filler" bowler to the number one spot. Also, I see no reason why Mehrab should not bowl 5 - 10 overs a day.He was after all the most successful bowler in the U-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka when Mushfiq was his captain.
In the batting department I will keep things as they are. Imrul would have been the only one but he should be given a decent run. He has done no worse than others.

He's in good touch. Remember, Shahadat got 6 wickets against South Africa in Chittagong..the same batsmen are destroying Ausssies right now. Mehrab should be used more. 10 wickets in 4 Ranji matches do not really convince me about Enam. mehrab would prob get more than 10 in 4 test matches. Most importantly, u should never change a winning team. ( I just keep thinking we won.)

Correction: Shahadat got 6 wickets in Dhaka.

AM is scary... we are bit unfortunate ... just got the confidence of playing Murali decently... now we have to face Murali - 2.... hope for the best.
