So I don't know how much he will be affecting W'shire's overall performances. Also some of the top players from the recently concluded season have moved out to other clubs....So things yet remain to be seen whether Shakib will be able to compete in the top tier County the season after.
This is true, Worcs are currently a weak team. They lost their up and coming keeper Steven Davies (a future England keeper) and vice captain Gareth Batty to Surrey and their premier fast bowler doesn't want to play for them anymore (Kabir Ali made it known at the end of the last season that he wanted to move counties, he had plenty of interest but no county was willing to buy him out of his current deal with Worcs).

But Worcs boss Steven Rhodes has gone on record to say he is happy for Shakib to join late in the season, what he called "the business end" of the season. With a host of gifted youngsters (Moeen Ali, Daryl Mitchell) and one of the most astute captains in county cricket (Vikram Solanki), there is every reason to be optimistic that Shakib will do well for Worcs!

Weak team or not, he'll be the first Bangladeshi cricketer to play for a county and that itself is an event to celebrate.

What a great news. May he represent our nation well for Worcs. He will leave a legacy there. Move over Graeme Hick!

Stupid Sky News. All brown people look the same to them. Then again they're owned by Rupert Murdoch, so no wonder.

Yes, county cricket is better than IPL to improve skill in longer version cricket. And it will give him plenty of British Pound too!!

Don't worry, Shakib won't even play, as summer is flood season in Worcestershire.

No chance for rokibul. he is not that good. Tamim and notorious/famous ashraful will be the next. May be Naeem too for limited over county matches. If Bangladesh becomes a formidable side within few years, rokibul might get into county teams. As you can see some ordinary players from strong sides also got the chance to play for county teams.

Doesn't the IPL movie stars/owners look stupid! They always did and now there is a proof.

BTW, this should give some inspiration to AssFool to garadute beyond the club cricket level.
