285/5 - this is15 runs less than what i was expecting.
however, still a good batting performance. i also hope "bd's best batsman" nafis iqbal did well making a 50+ score or maybe even 100.

At last the batsmen are performing well !
Frankly speaking, I think we had a lot of positives in the last Scottland match. For the first time in this tour, the top-order clicked. Doesn't matter we lost- it was a good game. Scottland played well so they deserved to win! We don't have to be so sentimental all the times. Give the Scotts some credit!
In today's match our batsmen have performed even better. I say 285/ 5 is a very good score.
Before this trip, our main problem was poor batting by the top-order, looks like we have found a remedy for that. Our bowling is good, never mind the Scottland match. If our batters can post 250+ we will always have a chance against any team.

Actually about the same. But when BD were out her a couple of years ago i was going for them because they were huge under dogs and i thought id just stir up my friends by going for bangladesh. Unfortunately they didnt win but they played excelently against a then formidable Australia. Australia is getting to old as Nasser Hussain has said and i am looking forward to Bangladesh beating us in the next series. But then Australia can beat the rest of the teams.

Mate this makes my day thank you at least for dreaming. i/We can't even dream of beating Aussies....
285/5 i would say very good considering for English condition and what i've hard about usa player that they might be better than WI so i am very very happy sp from 33/10,101/24 to 185/5....

it is really encouraging performance from BD so far in this tour:
Javed is doing the real anchor role
Ashrful scored 60+
Nafees scored 100 & 40
Rajin scored 21* and 36 (remember the situations)
Aftab - 80
Faisal - 50+
Pilot - 51*
Rafique -42
all are looking in good form
hope they can carry the same to big game
dont mind the losses, put-up good performance ,, that is enough at the moment
the only worry is Rana... hope he can

i would also go for bd beating aus in the next series(if its after 5+ years). the aussie team is getting old and they have no future. their u-19s arent good and they were thrashed 3-0 by ind u-19s, got crushed by zim u-19s, lost to ire u-19s and in the plate final, lost to bd u-19s by 8 runs.

Well BD is always good in under 19 and the other countries u-19 is equally bad but that doesn't mean the whole team will be bad..... as all the U-19 players don't get the chance to play only the better ones.... Still it's a huge thing for me hope you guys r right and on that day i will..... may be will have a heart attack or some thing....

Poorfan, thank for confirming. Let's hope the bowlers can kep their cool. It is a very good score, not an excellent one. The opponent is the USA, not even Netherlands, canada, Namibia, Scotland and Ieland. However, lets appreciate our batsmen to cross the psychological barrir of 250.

You probably don't know but usa already has beaten all those countires that you mentioned and qualified for this tounament. And as i have said earlier usa probably better than WI. Most of the players play at WI league and the usa league also i think better than BD league in terms of compitions between teams
But we should still beat them soundly as we r a test playing nation and have more exp then them but that doen't mean this is a team that can't bowl or bat... and again i think 185 is a very good score.
