I wonder, I just wonder what sort of team plan and team talk is being discussed in the dressing room....and how are they addressing the elephant in the room.

From 171 for 1 to 220 all out. Really frustrating to see batting collapse like this. No point blaming the pitch for this though it was tricky but it wasn't unplayable. A bit more effort from the batsmen were needed. Senior players like Riyad should have taken some responsibility after two quick wickets and batted sensibly and the ball he got out to wasn't unplayable

Not impossible, but quite tough. Let's hope that your expectation becomes true.

And when have these optimistic scenarios EVER come true in the past?

I see England getting between 300-350 before getting all out.

Second innings, Bangladesh all-out 190.

In a much more challenging Ctg pitch England crossed 220 in both innings. So to expect England can be rolled over quickly is very optimistic. I am glad at least Broad isnt playing. We need a miracle to get back into this test.

^^ WE just need two more wickets in the first hour on this pitch which is deteriorating fast to be back in this match. Very much do-able if our spinners can bowl with discipline and let the ball do the rest.

Taijul will have a big say in this match. He had a 8-fer on a similar pitch in this ground.

Haha....Some people still believe that if we can take two early wickets, we can take lead.
In the first test,
1st Innings: England 106/5 to 293/10
2nd Innings: England 62/5 to 240/10
Keep dreaming

Unless we make fundamental changes to our domestic cricketing structure, all these discussions are useless. One doesn't become professional overnight.

Bangladeshi players are used to flat pitches, medium pacers with no pace/ swing and spinners who just drift the ball. Moreover,we hardly play 3-4 day cricket in domestic competition. So I blame BCB who had enough money to make changes but has done nothing in last 15/ 16 years.

Worth noting as well that with the inclusion of Ansari England bat even deeper than last game.

For me test is over. If England score more than 350 first innings. And take a big lead. And watch how BD all out under 200 2nd innings. Leaving England very little to chase if not lose by an innings.

Seen this many a times.

Even if we get 4 wickets in first 30 min, I am sure England will still make more than 220. They know how to build partnership and bats deep.

But since everyone loves dreaming in this forum, I predict Hom will get 6 wickets in six balls, new world record and then England will be all out for 50 in 2nd innings. We win by an innings...

If 3 wickets fall inside 10 overs, then England will be bowled out inside 40 overs.

Just hope and pray that we dont get all out so cheaply in 2nd innings.

Still cant believe we were 171/1 at one stage
