Contrast this with the lack of fight when India went down to England. I am ashamed of the way India played the other day and proud of the way Bangladesh fought. Bad luck guys , but you are very nearly there. Pls beat Pakistan and knock them out.

Shakib is a man. He is not a team..take vitat out and place him in BD team in place of shakib and you will see hoe far virat goes with this bowling attack

I get it guys like Rubel are bowlers and are not expected to perform with the bat but surely holding the bat straight is just basic of cricket.

Well our captain bowled 5 overs and scored 7 runs. So basically we played with 10 men.

It is all because of Tamim's fault; if Shabbir stayed little bit more time!

Well played Bangladesh overall. I think BD are out now. Tough luck not qualifying to SF. Now go finish the world cup with a win in the final game.

Whenever we play India we should just assume our seniors will choke. At least Saifuddin stood up and fought hard. That and Fizz (who should have had 6 wkts) were the only bright spots.

India are a far superior side to us, given that I think we played really well. Good game.

Also England would have beaten NZ tomorrow anyway. So our win here would have hurt more had that happened. Let's win against Pakistan as consolation.

If Mashrafe had shown a little more belief in his team and Saifuddin and given him some support who knows what could have happened. But his mindset was that the match is gone, let me just close my eyes and slog a few.

To me the highlights in Bangladesh performance were Shakib, Mustafizur and Saifuddin.

Saifuddin seemed like an avatar of Klusener.

Ruined my day off. Feeling depressed. That was a depressing catch drop to start with. Batting wise it looked fine until they got set, then they gave away their wickets.

Just shows how taking the game deep, you never know. It’s not ever over till it’s over. Place Sangakara in shakibs position. Sanga would’ve taken it to 44th then told the other player to hit or he himself would’ve launched. Shakib tried to go way too early and it was needless at that stage. I felt shakib bottled it thinking its over already!

I am saying this again, worrying signs for Indian middle order.

Dhoni struggling. India should have scored 350, they ended up scoring 314.

I can do a big post mortem of Indian team, but this is not the moment.

Happy with the way Bangladesh played, they gave it their 100 %

Fizz, Shakib, Saif - did their part more than well. Mash, Rubel - mediocore. Musfiq, Tamim(drop??), Sabbir, Mosaddek, Soumya - Failed since it was 10 runs each from them or better performance from one would have carried through. Fizz pulled it back so well or India would have batted BD out by the first innings itself. The stage was beautifully set but BD faltered, in a must win game.

Bad luck this time, time look back at the silly mistakes that cost the close games earlier in the tournament, time to change and retire some oldies.

i will keep following BD cricket , i sincerely believed that BD will make it to semis

Cheers !
Padosan

Mash did what he does best. Hack at the ball hoping for the best outcome.

If he played defensively he'd be bowled out by a good yorker from the likes of Shami, Bhubaneswar or Bumrah.

Sabbir showed application and batted well but he too in the end went bit too early. Should’ve batted, fairly attack and gone ar 5 runs an over with big over here and there. Sabb n said with two overs to go 25 off 12 Bangladesh would’ve had a real big chance.

I hope Bangladesh cricket team will he further educated in ODI cricketing sense. You take the game deep then you’ll see it turns out better.

Just look at it now in the end. If only Liton, Shakib, or mushy batted bit longer, knocked off few more runs!!!

When you're chasing 300+ runs and get ONLY 1 half-century from top 7 batsmen, you can't win it. Fault is on everyone who did not convert their 20's or 30's into 50's at the least. Hats off to Saif who made more runs than most of the batsmen.

Mash should announce his retirement right now. Bangladesh cannot carry a baggage at this stage anymore. Many thanks to his efforts of bringing this team to the stage where we can threat any team now.

That 6 also came at a really good time for us. Id say he got unlucky to have been caught behind by Dhoni, that could easily have been a 4 otherwise.

I wish we beat Pak and Mash gets a few wickets and then retires with honor and love from fans

I feel Bangladesh lost this rather than India winning it. BD threw away wickets softly. To hell with the wicket being SLOW. Yes it was slowish but if anyone has decent eyes can see, Liton, Sharma, many timed it well, it wasn’t totally bad wicket - but slow balls were the way to go no doubt. If the wicket was so slow I don’t think one would’ve scored 314 and other near 290.

Bangladesh blew it. Simple as that. India was 20-30 short from the start they had, Bangladesh brought it back well. All blame goes to TAMIM.

Does Rubel has any brain? Why didn’t he looked to get saif on strike instead of trying to big himself when he is a village cricketer!!

Small things like this seems hard for some BD players to understand? Baffles me man.
