Look at the context. Noway BD was going to win losing mushy then mullah then ariful the passenger. Liton das couldve scored his highest score, entertained the crowd... Last few overs.

Least take it to the end. Got out to a nothing shot.

Whose six was the best yesterday?

Miraz against Cotterell?
Sarkar against Oshane (the free hit)
Liton versus Oshane, over midwicket

mehedi shouldn't be in the t20 team. Nazmul is key in t20s. And use Riyad as a main spin option in T20s.

Ariful I would still give some chances. People being a bit too harsh on Abu Haider.

A bit of tweaking here and there and we will have a relatively strong T20 team.

1. Tamim
2. Liton
3. Soumya
4. Shakib
5. Mushfiq
6. Riyad
7. Ariful
8. Saifuddin
9. Abu Haider
10. Nazmul
11. Mustafizur

I want to ask this to IPL teams. How many examples, knocks Liton Das needs to show you to get a chance? Wasn't the Asia Cup final knock against India enough?
I bet if it was a Sri Lanka played that knock he would've been Hyped in the auction and definitely if it was a ODI series and some SENA country batsman played it. *SENA = South Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia.

SENA is a good acronym. good stuff. i always refered to them as the white guys minus ireland.

Anyways, the reason is simple. very few people watch BD cricket. Add personal bias and lack of visibility means, and competing for only 4 spots means that you have to do something exceptionally well to be considered - like Shakib. And Liton hasn't done that yet. Also remember that only 4 foreigner per side, and that BD rarely makes way for the IPL calendar means that BD players will always be at a disadvantage.

Hetmyer was based on his exploits in T20 cricket

He's got a T20 hundred
Liton does not have any

Oh, and his hitting in the indian ODI series also propped him up also.

Your case should be against Sam Curran. What's his T20 record?

If some of the players can perform in the India series end of next year, maybe 1 or 2 of them could land an IPL contract especially considering they will be playing T20's it should be a decent enough platform

Of course he will. A charlatan like him will use every trick in the book to milk Bangladesh of all its keeping competency.

Indeed. It will be watched by big amounts. I hope LKD smashes a big score with excellent SR. We need Sabbir back in T20s - them two can be lethal on flat Indian roads..(wickets)
