Well, SJ was still the bowling coach during SL's time, so even SL must have relied on his judgement on bowlers.

So if the top cricketers of Sl ultimately doesn't show up to sign the contract then we will be playing more or less with this same bunch of players in the official test match. so good practice for bd... but really frustrated to see our fast bowlers how they are bowling.

SL's competitive school cricket is the difference really. Youngsters learn the basics early and it's easy to spot talents.
