Liton Das again with a brain freeze. Talukdar isn’t international material. Poor foot work and typical Bangladeshi batsman who makes room and doesn’t play forward

Allhamdullilah Shanto got saved.

Poor shot selection. I understand pitch playing against batsman but he needs to calm himself down

This hero drama mentality is losing the game. Liton, Miraz, Shakib and Afif.

Congrats BD.
It's a shame we are not as professional as we could be. Any other team would have won this by losing far fewer wickets. Thankfully, we didn't lose!

Am I the only one who is not happy rather furious we won?

I hate to sound snooty... and by all means congratulations Bangladesh, but these type of pitches HELPS NOONE. These are not T20 pitches I am sorry. Not taking any credit away from Bangladesh, but again and again we have been lulled into false sense of confidence after dominating in this dumb death valley slow tracks. REAL T20 matches that alphas play... lol ALWAYS are on flat bouncy pitch procuring 220 runs per game in all major tournaments. (Of course West Indies world cup tour would be different. I don't know I am rambling.)

The funny thing is haters will talk about the pitch, but had Bangladesh been bowled out for 117 and DEFENDED it with brilliant traps and exceptional fieldings that is trademark of the team... no one would harp about the pitch conditions.

But my interest is for the sake of team. We need to vary our diet.

MASSIVE shout out to Allan Donald who made Taskin and even Hasan a demon. Saw some footage of forcing players to consistently hit line and length and yorkers as well Shakib and co. slogging away for sixes.

Bangladesh for the first time playing fearless cricket and as Shakib said: "[Key] is not to think too much".

Honestly, if we couldn't shoot down 117 at home, we definitely didn't deserve the series.

Winning or losing the series is not that important. Key take ways:

  • BD fast bowling has improved significantly.
  • Shanto is finally living up to his expectations.
  • Pitches have overall improved slightly, but still pretty slow.
  • Still many areas of batting needs to improve.

On this crappy Mirpur pitch, we had beaten NZ and Aus. So, to me, beating this reduced strength England team is no surprise.

On true pitches, we will still struggle to win against AFG or Ireland.

one more key takeaway: Shakib is still the boss and the king. Out of all the modon seniors, this guy is the true GOAT. Still his world, we just live in it.

The Bangladeshi third umpire made a third class decision.

Allhamdullilah! Bangla Washed the champions!

We were very lucky with sloppy England fielding and some garbage bowling.

Turning point was the Butler run out.

Hope Talukder is retired for ever. He has absolutely no foot work and isnt even a decent fielder.

I think Mehedy is a better package than Nasum. Tanvir even didnt bowl 4 overs and celebrating a chimpanzee.

Liton has come out of his poor run thankfully. Shanto has been exceptional with the bat and the field.

Afif's mediocre batting will probably not be scrutinized too much. IMO he is more of an ODI player.

I didn't watch the game. Did we out play England or did they just play terribly or pitch was a factor. Regardless, congratulations for whitewashing england in T20. Thought I would not have seen this in the next 10 years lol

Bangladesh score was about par. It was the same pitch as last game but ball started spinning much later. Still it was a chaseable total.

This was one of rare occasions where Bangladesh fielded better than England.

IMO Bangladesh did par fielding, but England was quite sloppy. Catches dropped by England was really poor, athough Talukder was a walking wicket.

Third umpire decision for an LBW was quite shocking according to the commentators
