Iftikhar Anjum to Mashrafe Mortaza, 1 run, slashed over slips to the third man boundary and Pakistan edges this thrilling contest by 30 runs.

This is how it ended. Only consolation-thrilling contest!

anyway but this chase will increase the confidence of Bd ranks. I think we will do quite well in the WC.
I think the match was lost when 3 bowlers conceded 150 runs. One can concede 50 but not three.

Riyad cannot be blamed. He was simply out of his depth. This to me means , he should be a goner. We need to pursue people with class. He has not got it in him.

Unbelieveable last three overs of a 20/20 match !!!

Recent overs 1 1 1 1 1 1 | . 1 1 4 W . | . . 1 1 . 1

Bravo

One thing that this match has taught us is that Mahmudullah must never play a Twenty20 match again! He is suited for Tests. Give Junaid a chance tommorow. I say if Ash wins the toss, he needs to choose to bat first no matter what so we can focus on our batting instead of chasing a Uganda total of 80.

they have faced akhtar before and not once aktar came on top of Bd batsmen. I think lack of light together with the sky high asking rate caused them to swing and gifted akhtar the wicket.

I won't complain about th ewhole match, just disappointed with the performance of the last few overs.

The only acceptable excuse is lack of light!

i am sick of hoping a win for bd and saying that they will improve by time,i mean we are saying these every day but what happens nothing, nothing changed in these 8 years only a little changed ,we arent improving that much, these players have no thoughts about the team all they think about is themselves, they dont play cricket with their heart because if they did they would had won over 50 odi matches ,they are useless, cricket is no longer a game but its now a business.

look guys.. it's not our lower orders fault... u can not expect the same thing as u can from ash aftab and so on... besides it was way too dark anyways.... and did u notice smart a$$ Shoaib Malik only used fast bowlers at the end.... well fought match though... a class... now I truly believe we can beat WI in 20/20 wc. we just need few changes....
Junaid in place of Tamim if he fails to crack....
Sakib in place of Mahmudullah.... (no questions asked)

Live and and be sure to learn ... I see some more "hero to zeros" and "zero to heros" on the horizon ...

Well, look on the bright side , we have one more guy perhaps to pick the final 11 [ in any format ]. I still have only 7/8 automatic choices.

One more point: if the captain has no confidence in Riyad bowling or for that matter Mushfiq batting [ in a 20/20 ] why were they picked ? You are not telling me that Riyad was picked for his batting and Mushfiq for his keeping ?

Well T20 cricket is different from one day cricket. I've watched regular games at the Oval, and with the bowling, accuracy is far more important than speed. With the batting, running between the wickets, turning singles into 2s is as important as pitch hitting the ball, but you've got to place it right.

How can you say they are not trying? Can you see or hear the game? With few wickets remaining the better option is to get singles than to lose wickets. In what is at most for some players their 3rd ever T20 match, and the first against a stronger side, it has been alright since we didn't get battered. We didn't lose all our wickets, we were set a feasible target that was in reach for around 15 overs. Nazimuddin produced another strong innings. Ashraful took wickets, Rasel and Razzak were miserly with their bowling.

Stop being overly critical!

In the shorter forms of the game , they have improved. Rasel and Razzak are class acts. Aftab, Ashraful can be deadly in ODI situations. Nazim appears to be good. Where was he all this time ?

the turning point of today's match is Ash runout. If it was another 40+ score from Ash today, we would've made it!
