We need umpires like him than morons like Moni bhai. Teams like Aus and Eng are used to taking unfair advantage of deliberate umpiring errors. The world is not fair.

Ahh we're human. Most of us talk down our chances all the time. I was talking to a few colleagues ahead of this series(had a work seminar at the Gold Coast ) and told them, I'd be happy if we managed to bat out our 50 overs against the aussies.

But that doesn't mean deep down I wasn't hoping, praying for 1 win out of 3.

So people get frustrated sometimes and spout a bit of abuse, but you can't fault our loyalty or feelings...match after match we keep coming back, despite the result being a foregone conclusion 90% of the time.

Scoring 45 and 61 in the batting PP with just a loss of one wicket in consecutive matches is a massive improvement for any team, kudos to Mushy and Riyad.

indeed! Kapali will give us an extra bowler. while Hom will give us someone who can play decent against pace(again this is from SohelNR's post! never have seen him play).

our top order seems to struggle against pace, therefore, I nominate Hom over Kapali.

Riyad should not be dropped either just base on batting alone. I think he has done decent today supporting Rahim but should have carried on. he missed out! he still has an important job to do with bowling!

This is daylight robbery. Clear 6 not given, if we lose match on last ball then what?

I completely disagree. We constantly hear that this is a professional sport, played by professionals. The umpires are professionals, let them do their job, why should we do it for them?

How many batsmen walk.... around 180 regular international cricketers on the circuit atm, I doubt if even 10% of them walk.

But you're right Imrul should have walked, it would have saved us from his 41 ball innings which garnered a grand total of 5 freaking runs.

One bad does not cure another. But you are also right in pointing out that sometime our own umpire (forgot the name) gives bad decision against our team just as if to show that he is unbiased, and that is even worse.

So, only place where Shakib nowadays shows his aggression is the press box! If not for his and Imrul's sissified batting, Bangladesh would have posted 250-260.

Excellent point. You should write in to CI with that

CRICBUZZ says:
Johnson to Rahim, FOUR!!, the pocket sized dynamo is turning it on and brilliantly

pocket sized dynamo ... i like it.... but it his keeping that makes us forget all his good works infront of the wicket.

Shakib said earlier that in the 1st ODI the pitch became increasingly difficult to play in the second session. Today we shall see how Australia deals with it. My guess is that we shall see that the Aussies are not finding any trouble at all in this pitch. Then again, how strongly I wish that I am wrong....
