Shakib has been drifting a lot to pads. He does this when he is not focused

Maxwell is chewing his gum so hard he might end up biting his inner cheeks. He looks very impatient.

True but everyone but him and Mehedi were leaking runs first innings, neither could build pressure

He had drops of his bowling, didn't slog out, had that run out

I just think he had a poor game rather than his mind being off it, as he often is when he gets out

Well played Australia ! They played with proper intent and did not commit suicide like our batsmen!

We scored around 100 runs short in the first innings and that cost us the match. WE would have won if the target was 180-ish.

Anyway, The series was really exiting to follow! But we need to move our focus to SA series now which would surely prove to be really tough! Wishing the Tigers all the best for SA series.

Australia didnt do anything special. Bangladesh made all the errors and silly mistakes. Australia just did the basic. And won!

One might ask, how many did bangladesh spend in the nets after the loss to Australia?

This is how a champion team bounces back...

Although they have slipped a spot down in the rankings

They did the basics very well

If this was a boxing match, Australia jabbed us to death for 12 rounds and we kept dropping our hands

I heard in one TV report interview Papon saying after the first test win against Aus that we have achieved what we wanted and I don`t want anything... THis actually did set the tone of the whole team before the 2nd test...

The goal of a president and that of a team is different. Papon isn't an athlete. He is not a competitor. The boys are.

While I agree papon doesn't aspire much toughness but you could have expected our players to have much more hunger. Instead our players enjoyed the Eid day with family when the Australian team were working extra hard in the nets

I am still proud of this team, we started leveing test series against Eng,Sri & Australia.
Yes we made mistakes in 2nd Test but that is expected from a 9 ranked team.
We just need better Test mentality batsman, I was eager to see Liton, hopefully next time.
