"I've just come out of a tournament and didn't score that much, but it's a new day and anything can happen. You never know. I can score three hundreds against Bangladesh."-Pollard

Dumb thing to say. He hasn't even scored a century and now he's talking about 3 centuries? I know he's not saying it directly but he's implying it. The guy has only 4 half centuries, including 2 against minnow sides. Hope our boys can shut his mouth during the series.

Well Pollard has been playing in India for the last few days and he knows the condition well. But that doesnt mean that he can score three 100's against us. Its all mind game that he is trying to play...

Watch out for Pollard, Samuel, Powell, Adrian, Bravo, Andre Russell all are batting powerhouse. I hope our bowlers contribute like the T20. I have a feeling that atleast two of them will go for big scores. Hope our spinners can check them in the middle and also pacers will give early break through.

we were lucky in T20...as WI did not post 190 ...in 50 overs match they will score more...I doubt we can even chase 250 comfortably with these inconsistent middle orders...big team effort is needed.

Let the big mouth talk big. We will lay low and do the damage just we did in T20 as Summy tried to fun out of Mushfiq's short stature.

Pollard is a big mouth. In IPL he was not impressive this year. KKR outplayed them , Balaji's that last over misfortune saved them !

D/N game in mid-October, so win toss and bowl first to avoid the dew?
The middle order worries me. Too much dead wood, especially the AA batteries that never fire. Really, Mushfiq should bat at #4 and the AA demoted to slogging. See if SN can do any good at #3.

Remember pre-zimbo series where Shakib looked out of sorts (in terms if batting) for Worcestershire. He ended up having a decent run in Zimbabwe, and our best batsmen by far. Also, this way he can take his time and set himself, and rotate the strike like a true ODI player. It also means, providing Imrul gets out before Tamim, our two best and most aggresive players will be at the crease while Shakib feeds Tamim the strike. And Shakib along with Tamim are the only two (Not seen enough of Nasir/Hom) who play fast bowling well

I think Kapali is better suited batting late down the order at #7 or #8, Kapali, shouldnt come in before Mushy, Naeem and Nasir like he did in the t20 match against WI cause it seems like he likes to go for his strokes hard cricket is what he wants to play and not taking your time, takings singles, play patiently fairly-attack.

Pollard is a dangerous player,if he wants he can get three consecutive hundreds against any side in the world.
he knows how to walk the talk,
we have to deal with him very carefully otherwise we are doomed.

What I'd really like to see is a solid opening partnership tomorrow. Tamim-Imrul were very good last year but their record as opening partners has slipped in the past few series.
