Troll should be banned. I go to other forums to read good stuff not to troll then why should someone come to ours and play with our emotion.

I said Islander, not Islanders. And if we were so insecure he probably would've banned by now.

it's funny how he is lankan and making fun of US when they couldn't win the odi series and they drew a test match against us...

What makes him so superior over us?

Credits should be given to zimbabwe. Its their 7th test after returning to test cricket and still managed to beat a fairly experienced BD team by 335 runs. Also Zimbabwe were playing without some of their key players( Mawoya, Ervine, Price, Utseya, Vitori, Mpofu, Williams missing). They did exptremely well to draw the series 1-1 with having to field a 2nd string side against BD.

Credit should be given to the genius umpires to help ZIM win the 1st one comfortably.
Umpires almost made them a winner in the 2nd Test.

It doesn't matter what random people say really because nobody follows our cricket more closely than the BC fans here (apart from that roaring tiger fan at the stadium). We watched every single session of every series and it is clear to see the Tigers are on an upward curve ever since the Asia Cup.

We have found an incredible finisher in Nasir, a wicket taking off spinner in Gazi and now a pace spearhead in Robiul. We will continue to defy the odds, conditions and umpires and keep putting on a good show. Most of us believe in this team's potential and the fact that they are going to get even better as they play more cricket. Let all the criticisms be used as fuel for working even harder. Robiul has set the bar high now for our pacers and it's up to the others to match him in terms of work ethic.

We are getting better but still not immune to the odd hick-up along the way. We might lose badly in one game but it is the ability to turn things around and claw back into the series that defines this present team. We did that against West Indies after we lost the 3 and 4th ODI and now we did it in Zimbabwe.

None of the above. Bangladesh are a legitimate test nation in that they are a country than live and breathe cricket. No country owns the game, the fans do, Bangladesh have the fans and the culture so they should stay in the sport.

Yes, losing 2/3 Tests v ZIM is very disappointing. But I think Bangladesh should be given at least 2 more years. They did OK against West Indies and Sri Lanka I thought.

However, I agree with the argument that they haven't improved much in Test cricket. They definitely need to start winning against good teams.

Yeah coz winning test matches is that easy. Jesus Christ.
West Indies has done eff all either vs most top teams. Lets see how Sri Lanka does against top teams - but regardless, we'll all b*tch about Bangladesh, because you know, they're the soft targets. Jesus Christ.

Drawing against SL on their home is a very good step forward. Hopefully they can improve on the consistency, but the whole talk about taking away test status is BS. Don't like them watch play? Then don't. They've got plenty of fan support to sustain good viewership regardless of the format.

Take it easy there. I just said Bangladesh should start to win a few now, which is fair enough I think, considering that they have been playing for more than a decade.

I didn't say those teams were doing great. But they have at least won a few if you want to compare with Bangladesh . West Indies won Tests against New Zealand and Pakistan. Sri Lanka were the last side to win a Test in South Africa.

Just time span means nothing without context. They've only recently started to develop as a cricketing nation - they were rushed into the test cricket scene for all the wrong reasons and now when they're starting to develop, people come with such nonsense about taking their status away and giving them deadlines.

And yeah, as I said, they've not done much against Top teams - despite having much better and experienced players. And re: SL, I said "lets see how they do" - as in future.

I like Sri Lankan people's thought process. This guy comes back after we lost an ODI game to talk about Test cricket. Sri Lankans should be banned from watching cricket as they have zero knowledge of cricket.

^ He was never banned. Too much of a pus3 to sign into his old nick.
