That's offset because I retracted the Tamim replacement decision

I did.
But we're not going to do that, for fairness reasons....

but man that basically rules out anyone that had Tamim out of competition. Anyone who gets a player thats injured should be allowed to replace. For Tamim, he was literally injured at point zero.
I am not asking for anything unfair.. anyone with an injured player should be granted that swap just to keep it competitive. Its not like its BPL where a player just played one game and then left for whatever reason.
If the rule remains the same, I am taking myself of the competition. I am not being an *** about this but for me, to participate without a player who also happens to be my skipper.. I just dont see any point anymore. Thanks

The rules doesn't factor in injuries.
Once you made your pick, it's locked in.
If a player gets injured, regardless if he's the captain or not. I can't change that whilst the competition has started.
Everyone selected a team before the deadline. This means that everyone had a fair shot before it starts.
It's unfortunate that a captain goes down.
If I put a poll up and ask the other participants if they would allow this, then fine. I'll change it. As of now, the rules are what they are.
Impartiality should prevail.

Suggestion:
Next time you could introduce vice captain for fantasy league.
So in case the main captain get injured, or ruled out completely, the VC becomes the captain.

I am all about fairness. An injury, we can't control that. Had this league was like old times, we wouldn't have ANY changes at all.
However, since we are catering changes in the middle, I believe injury should be considered. Since I am not the league manager I can only suggest.
1) Tamim should be allowed to be replaced. Whoever is the replacement, would have his SECOND game counted. Because Tamim has already played Game 1. (Each position in the lineup will have a chance for two games if they are selected)
2) Those who have Tamim as captain can only make the replacement as the captain.
3) We still have time to make a decision as a league. (Unless someone wants to choose a SLan player)

I think these are all fair points. No one should have a problem with this.
