R ki men? We got our Test status in 2000, ODI status a while back and been playing ODIs for over 50 years. I get the whole infrustructure and other bullshit but this guys r not this horrible, why do they continue to play beneath themselves is a mystery to them. And if they ARE this bad, why play?

In Bangladesh team if you are at no.3 then it will also make you an opener by default as the real opener fails 8 out of 10 times. So, i'll agree with Beamer bhai that he should come down the order, maybe at no.4/5.

From an aussie perspective we are still warming up.
Not a great batting pitch.

well it's still pre-season for the aussies, but i'm still PO at the BD batsmen, come on now, they all made runs in the warm-up matches so there isn't any excuse. they had an attainable target for them and they got more than soundly thrashed.

Chill out guys,,, its a game. We won half of it when we bowled,, and lost the 2nd half of it when we chased... but it does show the difference in our standards. Nevertheless, nothing to be heartbroken about.. You didnt think Australia will let you go that easily did you? Tomorrow never dies..

if they had actually made a decent batting total i wouldn't be so critical but atm batting is supposed to be the teams strength, they're not often in this position so should have been on their games even more and they made runs in the warm-up matches. happy with the bowling performance but the batting was bad, even for BD.

I managed to see a bangladesh match for the first time since WC, and yet again the boys failed. Other than Tamim , none of the boys really lloked like they can play at the international level. Ash was nervous as hell , and didn't judge the bounce well.
Tamim, our best batsman today, still seems arrogant to me, with his lack of willingness to take out singles. If he did that today, he wouldn't have probably not gone for that very stupid today. Greg Chappel was spot on today about his and bangla batsmen.
