246/9 just 25 runs short of a confirm win. Gotta work hard in the field to win.

Bangladesh innings (50 overs maximum) | R | B | 4s | 6s | SR | |
| Tamim Iqbal | c †Fletcher b Roach | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0.00 | | | 0.1 and Roach strikes first ball! fuller length delivery outside the off stump, pitched closed to the off stump line and Tamim has a go at it, ball clips the outside edge and goes straight to the keeper. Now that's a start! 0/1
|
| Junaid Siddique | c Lewis b Bernard | 36 | 47 | 3 | 0 | 76.59 | | | 16.5 Siddique departs! fuller length delivery outside the off stump, they dried up the runs and under pressure Siddique tries to go over the top but the shot is not timed well enough and Lewis at mid-off takes it cleanly. This is good stuff from West Indies 74/2
|
| Mohammad Ashraful | run out (Reifer/†Fletcher) | 57 | 95 | 5 | 0 | 60.00 | | | 30.6 Miller to Shakib Al Hasan, short ball and Shakib cuts it away towards cover - Ashraful had been struggling but they decide to go for the single. The throw comes in over the stumps and Fletcher quickly takes off the bails - they go upstairs and the RED light flashes 128/4
|
| Raqibul Hasan | b Roach | 12 | 23 | 2 | 0 | 52.17 | | | 23.1 and he gets the breakthrough. He makes the ball move back in a touch at a fuller length outside the off stump. Raqibul is looking to run it down to third man without quite opening the face of the bat. He suffers as he gets an inside-edge onto the stumps and has to walk back 97/3
|
| Shakib Al Hasan* | c Dowlin b Roach | 54 | 60 | 3 | 0 | 90.00 | | | 47.2 gone! fuller length delivery outside the off stump, Shakib moves across a long away and tries to scoop it over the fielder at short fine leg but fails to clip it cleanly and Dowlin at short fine leg nicely settles under it 230/7
|
| Mushfiqur Rahim† | c Sammy b Lewis | 11 | 18 | 0 | 0 | 61.11 | | | 35.5 gone! short delivery, was close to the off stump line - Rahim goes back and cuts hard but only manages to slice it straight to the fielder at backward point. Bangladesh five down. 149/5
|
| Mahmudullah | c Bernard b Miller | 42 | 39 | 2 | 2 | 107.69 | | | 46.5 tossed up outside the off stump and Mahmudullah drives away from his body. Not a well timed shot and the ball lobs up towards point. Bernard there moves across quickly, dives to his left and takes it cleanly. Fantastic catch to end a fantastic innings 228/6
| | Naeem Islam | not out | 7 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 100.00 | | | |
| Abdur Razzak | lbw b Roach | 0 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0.00 | | | 47.5 Roach bags another one! good length delivery on the middle and leg stump line, Razzaq tries to work it away on the leg side but fails to make contact and the ball hits the pad right in front of the stumps. Loud appeal and umpire Doctrove had no hesitation in raising his finger. 231/8
|
| Syed Rasel | b Roach | 7 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 100.00 | | | 49.3 5-for! full and on the stumps - you miss, I hit. Rasel opens up and hits across the line but fails to make contact and the ball crashes into the stumps. Bangladesh 9 down. 241/9
| | Rubel Hossain | not out | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 100.00 | | | | | Extras | (b 1, lb 8, w 10) | 19 | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | Total | (9 wickets; 50 overs) | 246 | (4.92 runs per over |
pretty good batting from the middle order batsmen today

good recovery in the end but bowling has to be tight, this is a flat pitch so its a pitch for spinners, we will need to get them in early and our fielding has to be immaculate

Yeah,, even WI dont know if thats a good score or not... It all depends on Saqib/Riad/Razzaque now... they can strangle the WI side. Without the predictable comments,, I would say, Saqib will have to use as much spinners he can to get the WI.. My bet is with Rasel though... I want to see what he does today.

curator said its a 300 run pitch so we need to bowl well and field brilliantly to make up the extra runs that we did not score.

In last few games, we saw new partnerships flourishing. Hope Sakib will be the MOM today.
