Didn't you see his interview with Danny Morisson? He said he was injured and might not play today's game as well. They'll decide after the fitness test. If he doesn't pass, he'll be fit in a couple of days. He looked upbeat in general. I don't think there's any fall out with management. I think his injury is genuine.

First match perhaps where the local players of the winning team completely out performed the foreign players. Well done Mahmudullah and Ziaur. Hope this trend continues.

Another easy win. 3 out of4. Good going. We'll stop only when the trophy is ours.

After seeing them for the 2nd time yesterday, I think they are the most balanced team, also very organized. Def the best fielding side.
And I like the fact that they have a Home-Away jersey going. Nice. Professional stuff CTG.

^ How is it home-away if the matches have all been in Dhaka so far?

The unstoppable CK juggernaut is rolling on, destroying everything in its path. C'mon other teams, be a little more competitive. We're getting bored.
Jitsi, Jitsi, Jitsi. 4 out of 5.

Did you have a chance to look at the point table? The kings are where they should be - on top of everyone else. And that too without our Icon player.
Well you may not see them getting the trophy, but i can clearly visualize it.

They missed a lot of catches against SR. I think the highest number at any game in BPL. Fielding is the only blemish in their otherwise perfect show so far.

Before this competition, I was thinking that Khulna and Dhaka would be the best teams but here we are at the half way mark and their the best team. What's great about them is how good the local players have been for them and also the international players are relatively low key. Once Tamim comes back and if he can hit some big scores, they could be really tough to beat.

I wonder who the team management will drop when Tamim returns. Everyone is playing well except Murali. Jahurul is automatic choice because he is the only keeper we have.
My lineup:
1. Tamim
2. Jamshed
3. Jahurul
4. Roy
5. Riyad
6. Ziaur
7. Bravo
8. Reza
9. Cooper
10. Sunny
11. Enamul
Yes I know that means we have to drop Murali but that is the best team combination as it means we bat down to #8 and we have a good mix of slas pacers and offies.

Chittagong Kings’ dashing opener Tamim Iqbal has been ruled out of the Bangladesh Premier League T20 group phase due to a groin injury, said a press release of the franchise on Sunday.

I hope he recovers before Asia cup. Still the best opener in the country

hmmm, Some very interesting news
Quote:
Bangladesh Premier League franchise Chittagong Kings have reportedly sacked their technical director Dean Jones after his alleged fall out with team’s icon player Tamim Iqbal, sources said on Sunday.
Jones was involved in a bust-up with Tamim during a pre-match warm up earlier in the tournament, which, media reports said, is partly responsible for Tamim’s pro
longed stay on the bench.
Kings officials, however, denied the sacking of Jones claiming that they had an agreement with him only until February 21.
‘Jones’ contract expires on February 21 as he has a commitment in India. Any report about his dismissal is untrue,’ said a team spokesman.
Meanwhile, Jones was fined Tk 15,000 by match referee Mike Procter after their match against Duronto at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Saturday.
He was handed out the fine for entering the field of play during their strategic time-out in violation of the law.
The ICC law does not allow any officials to enter the field during the course of play or even when a team calls a time-out, other than the players and substitute fielders.

You guessed it right I think ..

Where is Bevan ...??
If the Rumatic news of D. jones Vs TI is right... ... Which I believe is very much possible... Because TI was going through a cocky attitude off-late ..... Then this event will be one of the dark spots/scars on a rather superb BPL season ....

It was hilarious, all the local channels had their tickers saying...Tamim Iqbal to be rested until SF, Ctg, dont want to risk worsening his 'injury'.
15 mins later, his name was shown on the teamsheet....haha

Tamim missed his opportunity to prove himself ...
Ok, why Riyad is always so clueless about his team??? I've have been noticing for the last 2 matches that whenever he was asked what are the changes they've made he couldn't say anything. Always fumbling, forgot the name of his team mates . That just says he is not as involved with the team selection. What I've noticed that most of the team management is not involving their captains in any kind of decission making or having faith in their captains. We've seen Sylhet and Barishal already changed their captain. Riyad seems like just following the order. Only Shak and Mushy has control over their team !! About Mash not sure. Anyways my point is, it's not a good sign. The team management should have faith in their captains.
