Even though i'm supporting Australia, its actually nice to see England winning something for a change. Even more, some new country is winning in cricket rather than the usual suspects.
Its about time England, South Africa gets their share of the pie.

Heartiest congratulations to England on their first global tournament win....always believed that Aus was beatable...somebody just had to put in that concentrated effort.....worry that it wasn't a subcontinent team....Pakistan almost did though...India's bowling from an international perspective never really is that threatening...SL needs bigger big time players...

This English team: best outfit assembled in years. never was a follower of the ashes, but this time i hope to find some free time to watch cricket at its best!
Wholehearted Congratulations to England! beating Australlia at the final: ALWAYS a special occasion!!!
Bangladesh shouldn't be too upset either: both teams we faced went on to semis and beyond. and the best part is: we gave both team a very good scare but only momentarily....

Basically they had started this 20-20 idea and they did this stupendous job of beating Australia in a final. Revenge of '87 World Cup final ?
Congrats to Colli and co.

36 years, 36 years it took them to win a world tournament. With like 8 foreign players in the team.
I supported the Ozs through out the tournament (not when they played us), I wanted them to win. Now those pom poms are all confident, and they will play us next !
