As for bowling Mash should finish his 4 in his first spell . Hope Arafat shinea and frabs him self a spot in the squad for all three formats.
But riad bowled well and kept the run check when A team was flying..

Ryad shouldn't be equated with "chokka" Naeema. Ryad actually can bat. On the other hand, Naeem should be nowhere near a T20 pitch. This lad has only two heaves in his arsenal.

On todays evidence:

Kaedge and Kupa Shamsu are ahead of Anamul for that opening slot. My choice Shamsur. He is an excellent fielder, too.

Can toss a coin between Zia and Farhad. I will go with Freza because of his fielding ability. He also has better temperament.

Not much between Arafat and Sunny. Arafat the better bowler, Sunny the better batter. Sunny is my pick.

Sabbir was the loser of this match. He must really come out with a bang in the next two outings to be considered. But, he still remains ahead of that chokka naeem in my book.

As a bowler Farhad is not too bad as a Bangladeshi allrounder. To me his main problem is his format of the game. He is better suited in short format as a bowler but his batting better suits at long format. He need to learn to hit big.

Kopa should be in for all limited overs, I don't yet think Kaedge is a T20 player.
Although NAeem hasn't done well today I believe he will do good in the next match.
Sabbir has a very long way to go, same goes for Soumya.
Razzaq got wckts but still expensive, economy wise Arafat,Nasa,Ryad & Amin were good, if Arafat continues this way I'd prefer to see him play T20s vs Srilanka instead of Razzaq.
Why is Rubel not playing?
As for Phorhad, no matter what he does, he will fail on big stage.

Some points to note from this match. No fifties. Regardless of the format, our batsmen struggle to get big scores. In T20s, you don't have much time to settle in so it's important that once you do, you want to score big. Also our guys need to rotate the strike and get singles. Just getting dot balls and boundaries won't get you far. Getting singles and putting pressure on the fielding side is equally important. That's something they really need to work on.

I think it's pretty obvious that Tamim and Shamsur should open our batting in T20Is and ODIs, Shamsur has to perform in the upcoming NCL in order to get in to the Test side as well. The backup top order spot however is pretty close. Both Imrul and Anamul are pretty close IMO for the T20I and ODI sides and this match showed that.

Out of all the fringe middle order batsmen Mominul did the best today which I'm sure a lot of us didn't expect. The lower middle order remains to be one of the bigger problems. Riyad, Naeem and Shabbir all failed. They have 2 more matches to prove themselves and hope they do show up next match.

The pace all rounders are what we expected really. They all seem to be on the same level and like the lower middle order batsmen, have to perform in the upcoming matches.

The bowlers all did pretty good today. So no complaints from them.

Interesting to see what happens in the next 2 matches.

Gazi is struggling to establish himself as a t20 bowler. An economy rate of 8.43 is simply not good enough. Elias Sunny, Riyad, Naeem, Nasir are more capable of saving runs than him by the looks of things. Just because he is a great performer for Test and ODI does not make him an auto selection for T20. I hope he realizes that and works hard. I would rather have him than another SLA but with this economy, he makes it easier for the others.

Thanks for the upload Razi bhai. Lol at Gazi. I don't like the Bangladesh A team kit, I think they should've had a red kit instead. I don't see Kayes as T20 material, he consumes way too many dot balls and I'm happy for Shamsur to just focus on limited overs cricket right now. I would say 5 batting spots are confirmed in T20s. Tamim, Shamsur, Shakib, Mushy and Nasir are all guaranteed a spot, just the final 2 positions are up for grabs between Riyad, Naeem, Mominul and Sabbir or possibly one of the allrounders.

Although Arafat has done well and has a decent T20 record, I can't see any of the spinners going ahead of Razzak and Gazi in the pecking order, so no point discussing them. I also can't see any of our so called allrounders going ahead of Mashrafe or Rubel either.

The problem with some of our pace allrounders is that their bowling is rubbish as highlighted in this match and their overall record, neither of them are good enough with the bat either, so may as well just go for specialist players rather than bits and pieces players.

Our T-20 team has a lot of issues to resolve:

Major form/fitness worries: Shakib and Tamim

No Death bowlers: Mash, Gazi, Razzak all proving to be useless. Perhaps Al Amin and Shakib?

Lower order too slow: Ryad and Naeem are not the come in and hit sixes type and in a high scoring chase that is what we will need. Besides Mushfiq and Nasir don't see anyone dependable.

The question mark players: Mominul, Anamul, Zia, Soumia, Shabbir haven't done anything to increase our confidence in them to deliver on the big stage

Imo the solutions:

Al Amin and Shak at death..Al Amin in these upcoming months should work hard on his death bowling..these prac matches are good chance for mushy to stick with him at death..so far he has succeeded including that nz match. As for Shak he is the other best option.

Shabbir and Nasir. Shaabir from anyone who has watched in him the few innings he played in BPL showed immense talent. The straight drive he played for six off Tait was in of the most memorbale shots i can remember to date from a bengali and the ease in which he can clear fences for a small man is remarkable. No doubt about the talent just he needs translate onto field.. Again this is where coaching staff need to step in and fine tweak his little issues in regards to technique and more important mentality and rest will flow inshallah.
