i don't think we are doing that bad in SA as a team. look the last series of SA in SA against NZ.
New Zealand in South Africa Test Series 2007/2008
1st Test
SA 1st innings 226 all out
NZ 1st innings 118 all out
SA 2nd innings 422 all out
NZ 2nd innings 172 all out
South Africa won by 358 runs
Click here to see the full Scoreboard
2nd Test
NZ 1st innings 188 all out
SA 1st innings 383 all out
NZ 2nd innings 135 all out
South Africa won by an innings and 59 runs
Click here to see the full Scoreboard
NZ never even score 200 runs in any innings. and one they lost by an innings and another one by 358 runs which not less than an innings defeat.so if our all players could've played their normal thing then we could've done better than NZ.but most of our players played pathetic specially Junaid.

Guys those bad shots are a result of sustained pressure. I can tell you that even at our club level, you can always tell when someone is going to play an ugly shot if the opposition bowlers are capable of stringing together 3-4 overs (hey we are talking club-level) of sustained, nagging (not hostile) bowling. Ask yourself - how many bad balls have you seen all morning??? I am really trying to think and can only come up with 4-5!!!! Now count how many jaffas/unplayable balls have you seen. Heck if the mighty Aussies can't deal with Kiwis on a green top (at the Gabba), how do you expect us to fare better against an attack that is miles more potent?

problem is we always get ourself out out of those bad balls. i would love to see if BD players get out from unplayable balls. then if bd gets out at 90 all out, i wont mind..

When we played south africa we faced the full wrath of dale steyn(took 20 wickets in two matches), he hasnt been his usual self in this series yet.

I watched the match today... Ash is lucky to be there, probably Tamim got nick before he got out.
The way Tamim and Zunaid were batting, I did not see any way to get them out. At the end, they found their way to get out. Very poor shot selection, specially Tamim. Cricinfo does not tell all, I am not as frustrated as yesterday after watching them bat more than an hour. They need just to adjust their game, need to use more gears than one they used.

Lol..they should park those in the long term terminal and throw the keys away!
Tamim played really well until he played that idiotic shot of his. Junaeds technique against the fast bowlers is really oweful...I am surprised that Jamie has not been able to rectify those basics. Otherwise, Junaed has shown some guts today.
I would change the batting order too. Naem should bat before Shakib and mehrab. His technique and temperament is definitely better than shakib. This is how I would have it:
Tamim
Imrul
Junaed or Rakibul
Ashdafool
Naem
Mushfiq
Shakib
Mehrab or...

Its seems like rain has stopped...might be a little bit of drizzle. Play should resume within the next half an hour.

Their fans would have been sad because their team do not torture them, unlike ours.

hey if u bet on Bet365 now seems they'd give u $10 for every $11 u bet for Ash to be the next guy out. For Mehrab it's $6 for every $4.
